What are Mirror neurons?
Mirror neurons are a class of neurons that fires both while the body excecutes a motor action and while observing others doing the same action. They play a major role in empathy and sociability as they are able to decode and recognize facial expressions.
What is Observational learning?
Observational learning or Social Learning theory is a theory that explains learning through the process of modeling. Modeling is both a process and a cognitive behavioral technique, that states that learning occurs through observation and imitation. It does not support the view of learning through associations and consequences.
