Dear it's very easy , just read the question twice and try to understand the question, what is asked ?
(I)You are asked to arrange some objects in specific way,
Or
(II)you are asked to select some objects from a given number of objects.
If you have to arrange then it is permutation and if you have to select then it is combination.
That is for case (I) it is permutation.
And for case(II) it is combination.
And for multiple work , you have to apply basic principle of counting.
