Please submit all parts of your assignment as a single pdf file along with your SAS EG project file. Tasks 1. Review Lessons 1, 2, 3 from SAS® Enterprise Guide®: ANOVA, Regression and Logistic Regression and submit quizzes from end of each Lesson. 2. Highway mileages. The highway mileages of 147 cars are in a file named CARS2. These cars are 2003 models. Find the mean, standard deviation, range, first and third quartiles and median for the mileages. Construct a histogram of the data. Use SAS EG for this exercise. 3. Assume these cars represent a random sample of all new cars produced in 2003. The corporate average fuel economy (CAFÉ) standards set by the government require that average fuel economy for cars be more than 27.5 miles per gallon. Perform a hypothesis test to examine whether the CAFÉ standard is being met. Use a 5% level of significance, state the hypotheses, the test statistic, decision rule and your decision. What is your conclusion regarding the average mileage of 2003 cars? Guidelines Refer to the course outline and your TA session regarding how to access the lessons from SAS tutorials. Take the quiz at the end of each SAS lesson and save your results. You will get the full credit for task 1 of this assignment if you get 100 on all the quizzes. Based on the feedbacks from the quiz you can retake the lesson and redo the quiz to get 100. The CARS2 dataset is on the course website in Datasets folder.
