What is the difference between inferential statistics and descriptive statistics? a.
Inferential statistics is drawing conclusions/making decisions based on sample data while
descriptive statistics is converting data into information. 5.
What is interviewer bias? How could this impact data collection? a.
Interviewer bias is when someone gives an interviewer the answer they want to hear even if isn’t the truth or what they would actually say. This could impact data collection because it can give false results of a sample/community you are gathering and can change decisions that are made based on those results. 6.
What is the difference between a sample and a population? a.
A population is everything/everyone that meets your criteria or area of interest while a sample is just a subset of that population that you can then make inferences on the population based on that sample.

Quantitative data is numeric values and qualitative data is more categorical data like marital status.
