Individual Hypothesis: If Old Dominion University’s sexual assault program was implemented in aiding the student body against sexual assaults, then the likelihood of sexual assaults not being reported would decrease. Unique Research Questions based on my Hypothesis (7-10):  Have you or anyone you know victimized by sexual assault? -Yes -No  If you answered yes, did you or the person you know report these sexual assaults? -Yes -No  If you answered No, why was the sexual assault not reported?  What is the typical outcome in college when reporting a sexual assault?  Do you feel safe with the Old Dominion Universities sexual assault program? -Yes -No  What do you believe is the common factor for individuals not reporting sexual assaults?  Do you believe Old Dominion Universities campus has a lot of unresolves sexual assaults? -Yes -No  Do you believe there needs to be more mandatory information and consequences for organizations those who preform sexual assaults are apart of? (Sports,Fraterntites etc.) -Yes -No  Do you believe lack of consequences and education promote more sexual assaults to occur? -Yes -No  What do you believe needs to be done on the Old Dominion Universities campus to promote a safe area against sexual assaults? Was a freshman and friend were told if she was to report the boy who sexual assaulted her she would be black listed from everywhere on the college campuses like parties and functions.  What is the typical outcome in college when reporting a sexual assault? Nothing really happens, a lot of talk of making sure the situation is resolved is discussed then nothing happens.  Do you feel safe with the Old Dominion Universities sexual assault program? -Yes -No  What do you believe is the common factor for individuals not reporting sexual assaults? The common factor is fear and not having a sufficient support system.  Do you believe Old Dominion Universities campus has a lot of unresolves sexual assaults? -Yes -No  Do you believe there needs to be more mandatory information and consequences for organizations those who preform sexual assaults are a part of? (Sports, Fraternities etc.) -Yes -No  Do you believe lack of consequences and education promote more sexual assaults to occur? -Yes -No  What do you believe needs to be done on the Old Dominion Universities campus to promote a safe area against sexual assaults? Make the individuals responsible for sexual assaults be held accountable and punished. There are too many loops these individuals can go through to get away with sexual assaults at ODU and it is disgusting that these individuals are not held to a higher punishment and consequences levels.
