Understanding Biblical Worldview Introductory Worldview can be a broad subject. It has so many categories that can be a subject for discussion. It is a philosophy of life, and without the thoughts, curiosity, assumptions, or questions, humans would not have or try to attempt to answer the fundamental question of life, the nature of reality. The attempt to understand the creation of the earth, energy, and all living things. Everyone has an opinion. If enough people believe in this opinion, it becomes a worldview. In the next chapter, I will try to explain the definition of worldview. I will try to explain different types of Worldviews.

Understanding Biblical Worldview Defining Worldview To define Worldview, you must understand the concept of thought and ideas. The Interpretation of the world: understand what is reality and what is not. Well, at least hold some intelligent vision of life. One definition of Worldview is “A world view, or intellectual current, is one of the essential attributions of people because it exposes assumptions and intellectual commitment regarding the nature of reality. It is a commitment, a fundamental orientation of the heart, that can be expressed as a story or in a set of presuppositions that we hold about the basic constitution of reality and that provides the foundation on which we live and move and have our being.” (GAIFERDON) A worldview covers the common questions of who, what, when, where, and how. For example, who created the universe, how was it made, where the person began it, and what was their purpose? To answer these questions, a series of events will form with more questions. People started developing faith, government, and human relations by trying to answer the basic questions. One of the views that I would like to describe more is the Biblical Worldview. In the material my class is learning from, the definition is as follows: Seeks to understand life based on the teachings of the Bible. A biblical worldview includes principles that can be applied and adapted to any cultural setting and topic, ranging from one’s work to marriage to government.” (Hindson) Biblical Worldview is what Christians base their faith on, which comes from the scriptures. I would not say that I am a solid and knowledgeable Christian of the scriptures, but I have faith, and I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and God's way of living a Christian life.
Understanding Biblical Worldview Humanity Came into existence. How did humanity come into existence, and what is the origin of the universe? This has been a controversial subject since the beginning of time. The Scriptures have the answer: " In the beginning, God created the heaven, and the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. the earth." Genesis 1:4 KJV Scientists have been trying to study the unknown areas of the universe. and they still can not find an answer. A famous scientist, Albert Einstein, said, Science without religion is lame; religion without science is blind .” (Coyne) Scientists study facts that you can see, touch, and smell. They research ideas and try to come to a conclusion. A scientist tries to find a rational reason. Do they succeed? They are still looking for what is in the universe. Are they looking for heaven? Are they still trying to figure out how the world was made? How did humans come about? They have discoveries but no accurate answers. The Bible never changes. The Scriptures always come out to be true. The book of Genesis tells all the origin of the universe, humans, planets, heaven, solar system, and atmosphere. To name a few.
To be Human is more critical than other living things God made men in his image. God gave humans the gift of life and the ability to care for all living things. To love each other as he loves us. Be fruitful to have a family and plenty of children. The only thing he asks of us is to praise him and live by his will. Genesis 1:26-28 New King James Version 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over [ a ] all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that [ b ] moves on the earth.” Humanity’s purpose God ’s primary purpose for humanity is (Ekeshili) According to the Bible, our purpose is to love God and others. The Bible is quite clear about what humanity’s purpose is. It’s found in the first and second commandments: First Commandment: “Love God with all your heart, soul and mind.” (Matthew 22:37) Second Commandment: “Love others as you love yourself.” (Matthew 22:39) The primary purpose is to Love and serve God. Treat others as God has treated you with Love, kindness, and respect .

Understanding Biblical Worldview Right and wrong and how is morality determined Morality is fundamental because asking moral questions is at the front of everyday life. It tackles the most critical questions of life’s most important issues. Morality is the question that asks what is right or wrong. A person's worldview determines morality. Everyone has an opinion and a specific way they answer a question. Isaiah 5:20 Living Bible 20 They say that what is right is wrong and what is wrong is right; that black is white and white is black; bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter. What happens when a person dies? These bible verses tell it all in Ecclesiastes 9:4-10 King James Version 4 For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion. 5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. 6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion forever in anything that is done under the sun. Two Methods of Sharing the Gospel The Roman Road has two methods of teaching the Gospel. It talks about Salvation and the Gospel using the Chapter of Romans in the Bible. It explains to people why they need to study God's word. It describes how God provides for us, how we should learn from it, and the rewards from it (Got Questions, 2022). The first verse is Romans 3:23, which states that humans are all sinners and no humans are pure of sin. Romans 6:23b states the cause and effect of sin and the penalties, which is eternal death; the third verse describes God's plan and how he sacrificed his begotten son, Jesus Christ, to pay for our sins so we may be forgiven and live. The fourth verse, Romans 10:9, says that humans
can be saved from the second death if they accept and love Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The last book of the Roman Road, written in a minimal context in the Book of Romans, says people will have everything they need with God. (Got Questions, 2022 ). Evangelism Explosion Evangelism Explosion is a ministry with many ways to teach worship, such as how to pray, training on the job, and spiritual multiplication. It is a way to bring Jesus Christ to others and help them to believe in God (Evangelism Explosion, 2018). Helping people is more like solving a math problem or selling something when they are leading people to be Christians. Multiplication offers a critical step in teaching the Gospel. They also help with the Evangelism Explosion, real-life training, which is hands-on training with the best people. It will give real-life situations in which we must use critical thinking to teach people to trust and believe in God. For example, learning small parts of the Bible verse each week will allow people to understand the Bible and to be able to have an intelligent conversation about the Gospel (Evangelism Explosion, 2018) The Scripture is the most essential book in the world. The Bible answers every day questions. If instructions on how to live. It gives you a warning of the sins in the World. It gives you examples of how your future could be if you praise God and live righteously. The Bible gives informal answers to the Biblical Worldview. questions with many stories and examples. Understanding the Scriptures can help you understand your worldview. It is very important to have and understand your worldview. It can provide peace in your life; it can help to have an Intelligent conversation with someone. Islam's belief is not in Christianity but
has some similarities. As a Christian, a believer of God with a Biblical Worldview, I have to be able to communicate with kindness, patience, and Respect. 1 Peter 3:15 has directions on how to do so. The universe's origin, humanity, come into existence. The first book of the Bible is Genesis. God tells how everything came into existence. Genesis 1:1 New International Version 1 : In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Islam people believe that the world was created differently by God. “Heaven and Earth were one indivisible unit until God's act of creation split them in two. These separated parts are described as having a smoke-like form. From this formless matter, creation took six long spans of time, according to the Quran, instead of the six days stated in Genesis. Some Muslim scholars see parallels between the Quran's version of events and the scientific Big Bang theory due to the suggestion that creation was an evolutionary process over a long period of time. During these spans of time, God made everything in the heavens and earth, from animals to angels, and the earth's vegetation included the grape, the olive, and the palm tree. The Quran emphasizes the idea that God's creation is for the material and spiritual welfare of human beings and that God created humans to be his deputies on earth. (MCKENZIE) What does it mean to be human, and more important than other living things. In the Bible, men and women were created in the image of God. We are to care for the earth and every living thing, but we are made to rule over other living things. (Genesis 1:28 NIV), tells us that we are the caregivers of all God s creation and to “fill the earth and subdue it. Genesis describes the plans that God had for us during creation. (Genesis 1:26 ESV) Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

Islam's beliefs are similar but different. While Islam does not discount the idea that life may have evolved in stages on Earth, the Quran states that the beginning of human life originated with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Human beings, according to Islam, are a unique life form that Allah granted with specific abilities unseen in other animals, such as a soul, knowledge, and free will. The Quran says Adam was created from “sounding clay, from mud molded into shape.” It does not specifically describe Eve’s creation other than stating that a “mate” was created for Adam (unlike the Old Testament, which says Eve was created from one of Adam’s ribs).” (MCKENZIE) H umanity’s purpose Worldview builds a person's destiny. That is why it is essential to have a Worldview. It builds your faith, character, and the way you live your life. A Biblical Worldview trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ, praising and obeying God’s Commandments will give you everlasting life in God s kingdom. The scriptures tell us about life after death. The way you live and how you treat your neighbor is the way you die. When you die, the Bible says you are asleep. 1 Thessalonians 4:14(NIV ): For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. (ESV) The Scriptures also say that because Jesus rose, we shall rise again, and if we believe in him, we shall have everlasting life. Understanding Biblical Worldview
Similarities between Christian Worldview and Islam When comparing a Worldview between two religions there is always one or more similarities. The meaning of Religion “T he belief in a superhuman power or powers, especially a God or God s. There are a lot of different religion that is in conducted all around the world. Christianity and Islam can surprise some people with how similar they are in their Worldview beliefs but different. For example, Islam is right behind Christianity is the second-largest religion practiced around the world. Christianity is the first. This is an article in the Religion of Islam: Both Islam and Christianity encourage their followers to dress and behave modestly, and both believe that being charitable and showing compassion are desirable qualities in a human being. They both place emphasis on prayer and communication with God, both call on people to be kind and generous, and both counsel treating others the way you would expect to be treated. The two religions expect their followers to be truthful, avoid significant sins, and ask for forgiveness. Both religions respect and love Jesus and expect him to return to earth as part of their end-of-day narratives. Members of both religions would have us believe that they are poles apart, but their histories begin in precisely the same place, in the Garden with Adam and Eve. It is in the life of Prophet Abraham that their paths begin to diverge, and as if to add emphasis to their mutual beginning, Islam and Christianity, along with Judaism, are known collectively as the Abrahamic faiths. (Stacey) Both Religions believe in one God, but Muslims do not believe that Jesus was
the son of God. I found this article that states: Followers of Christianity called Christians believe in the Holy Trinity and that Christ, the son of God, walked the earth as the incarnate form of God ("the Father"). Most Christians also believe Christ will return at the end of the world. Muslims (followers of Islam) consider Jesus Christ to be a [Messenger-vs-Prophet-in-Islam|prophet, a messenger of God]] and a messiah. However, they believe that Muhammad was the last prophet, and he recorded the word of God verbatim in the Quran. (Christianity vs Islam Diffen.com. Diffen LLC, n.d.) Christianity and Islam both believe that places of worship will have people come together for a time of worship of God. The comparison of the two worldviews demonstrate some resemblance in how they practice but are so much different. I am a believer in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. It is interesting to learn about other religions, but always remember the Scriptures and keep love in your heart. Understanding Biblical Worldview
