A worldview is a framework for understanding our world and how it came to be. A worldview is how we conduct our lives and see the world around us. Our worldview influences how we interact with others, how we treat others, and how we perceive their views. As Christians, we build our worldview on the teachings of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as contained in the Bible. A person with a Christian worldview must also understand who God is and what God has done and created for us in order for us to live the greatest lives possible. As Christians, we must believe and do what the Bible teaches us, as well as have confidence in our heavenly Father and Lord, Jesus Christ. God, humanity, Jesus, and restoration are the four most significant components of the Christian worldview. God is a magnificent person that you should truly believe in him and what he does. Christians believe in one God and that one God is believed to be a triune being. A proper understanding of trinity is that one God exists in three person: father, son, and holy spirit. (Diffey, D & Holland, R. (Eds). (2022). This is significant because a trinitarian perspective of God is a necessary component of the Christian worldview. According to the bible, creation is an entirely divine activity. All three persons that god exists in are responsible for Gods creations. Genesis 1 and 2 not only offer a framework for understanding the character and essence of God, but they also provide a foundation for comprehending the nature of creation. God created our world in 7 days for every living thing so they could prosper. God is so much more than what we all have learned and heard. The characteristic of human nature is what makes us humans. Humanity is the pinnacle of creation which is seen by the end place of the narrative. The creation of humanity as Gods image is demonstrated as Gods special relationship to humanity and his role for humanity. Sometimes humans are mistaken to be a soul, or a spirit and the physical body is not essential to human
nature. They say the body is a sinful aspect of humanity. Either way they believe the body to be wrong. Genesis 1-2 states humans to have value and dignity. God created no other creature in his image. Due to the fall of Adma and Eve humanity is considered sinful. Eating from the tree of knowledge of God and evil Adam and Eve caused humanity to be a sin. Everything was in great harmony before the fall of Adam and Eve but afterwards Gods relationship with humanity was broken. Diffey says, “The fall was the ultimate act of rebellion that changed the very nature of humanity” (Diffey, D. & Holland, R. (Eds). (2022). Humans have always been wicked by nature, and sin is at the basis of all humanity’s problems. Jesus is God’s son. Jesus was put on earth to teach us and spread Gods thoughts as well as save us from death and sin. Jesus as well as God is powerful and loving. Jesus healed a paralyzed man which shows how powerful he really was and forgave him of his sins. He boarded a boat, crossed the river, and arrived in his hometown. Then they brought a paralytic who was laying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you” (King James Bible,2017). Jesus is a man that is capable of forgiving and making miracles happen like he did the paralyzed man. Jesus was also supposed to be only a teacher and a preacher, but we now know that he has the capacity to perform miracles and forgive us of our sins. Forgiving sins is not easy like telling a man to walk again. Everyone Jesus thought could be forgiven knowing he was not worried about the man’s condition. Jesus was more worried for forgiving the man of his wrongdoing so he could be free of sin. This miracle teaches us that Jesus mission was about forgiveness as humans we are all wicked by nature and in need of forgiveness. Jesus felt that we were all deserving of forgiveness regardless of what we did wrong or what our views were.
