2 CAREER DISPOSITIONS SELF-INVENTORY Part 1 The dispositional theory or the trait theory is an approach towards the study of human personality by examining their traits. A trait is defined as a continuous behavior, thought, or emotion that ends up forming part of one's habit. This theory proposes that the traits are aspects of personality that are existent in all individuals and are stable. The only issue is the fact that these traits vary in different individuals. Therefore, the primary proponent of this theory is that our traits determine our personality (Allport, 1955; Feist et al., 2018). The biological personality theory is based on the premise that individuals inherit genetic components responsible for how they learn and adapt to specific issues and aspects of life. According to Eysenck, the personality of a person is determined by the balance between the excitation and inhibition processes of the Autonomic Nervous System (Eysenck, 1968; Feist et al., 2018).

This makes me more creative than the average person and more imaginative. b) With a high consciousness score, I am more of a long, sighted person. This means that I am organized and determined to achieve my goals. Also, I can forego immediate gratification for the sake of the bigger picture. c) Extraversion explains a person's desire to seek relations from the outside world. It shows that I am more of an extrovert with a high extraversion score, and I tend to find support from the outside world in the form of friendships.

4 CAREER DISPOSITIONS SELF-INVENTORY d) An average score of 60% in agreeableness makes me a person who empathizes with others and can put others' interests before mine. This makes me less competitive with others, but more caring. e) A low score in neuroticism means that I am less likely to react to pain and misfortunes with fear or anger. More often, I am inclined to brush them off. Q. 2 One of my traits that has been exposed by this is the fact that I like to see other people smile a lot. Therefore, I always spend time making people happy by telling them they look beautiful or just saying something funny (Feist et al., 2018). Q. 3 I believe that the test is fairly accurate about my personality. This is because it explains the majority of my reactions to issues and how I have been reacting to issues overtime (Feist et al., 2018). Part 4 Q. 1 As a salesperson, I do not react to failure by using fear, but instead, I tend to brush these failures aside and focus on the next stride. Also, the fact that I have a high openness rating means that I am more likely to develop and discover exciting means in which I can sell more goods. This is also coupled with the fact that I have a determined personality that can persevere in the long run.
5 CAREER DISPOSITIONS SELF-INVENTORY Q. 2 As an accountant, I am more likely to deploy the organized skillset and determination that I possess. This will ensure that I can keep track of records effectively and ensure that they are well organized. The fact that I have a very high intelligence quotient will ensure that I can effectively deal with these issues. Q. 3 I am a person with a high openness score, and this makes me very creative and imaginative. With the constant need to look for creativity and originality in photos, I believe that this openness and continuous ability to create will be essential. Also, the fact that I have a low score in neuroticism means that I am less likely to get annoyed by my failure to capture the perfect shot but will likely brush it off and hope for a much better one. Q. 4 As a person who is more open to creative and imaginative ideas and solutions, I believe that the ideal career for me would be in literature, where I would like to be a novel writer. As a novel writer, I will be able to exercise my creativity and imagination in developing scenes and plots. Also, the conscientiousness that makes me focus on the bigger picture will be vital as it makes me improve my plot to meet the end (Feist et al., 2018).
