Delia would have to file with the Circuit Court of Maryland because the District Court of Maryland hears civil cases with claims up to $30,000, whereas the Circuit Court of Maryland would hear civil cases with the claim exceeding $30,000. Since Delia wants to sue Nell for the vintage car worth $45,000, it would have to be filed with the Circuit Court. c. Court of Special Appeals of Maryland d. Delia would have to file an appeal with the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland because the state of Maryland created the Court of Special Appeals as Maryland intermediate appellate court. e.
