Changed View of Theology
This course has taught me a lot about theology and has somewhat changed my view of theology. For example, realizing the implications of the Gospel helped to shift my view of theology. This is because it helped me to realize that God is the main character of the Gospel, and we are merely characters in his story. Because of this, we must live out God’s plan for each of our lives and in doing so, we must spread the Gospel. This course also showed me that as believers, we are to be engaged in the culture. That is,
we are to teach the Gospel no matter where we are or what our vocation may be. Even if our vocation may not be considered “sacred” by the world’s standards, it should be sacred, because believers should be in the vocation God has called them to. With this in mind, believers can consider their workplace as their mission field, and not avoid talking about their faith simply because their vocation is not considered sacred. This aligns with the Great Commission which says, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the
Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 28:19, KJV). Application
This course has helped me to seek a heart of worship. A heart of worship helps the believer to love God and have rightly ordered loves. When this happens, the believer can worship
the Lord wholeheartedly, and because of the believer’s love for others, he/she will be emboldened to share his/her faith. This is because God loves his children, and he inhabits our worship. “But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel” (Psalm 22:3, KJV). As I seek a heart of worship, I have found this to be true.

This course also reminded me of the importance of sanctification. Because I have received sanctification, I am prepared for God’s holy purpose. “If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use” (2 Timothy 2:21, KJV). With this in mind, I have been reminded that I am prepared to witness to others, and to obey God in whatever he tells me to do. After all, teaching others the gospel, and telling them our personal testimonies should be a fruit of our sanctification. Our sanctification should prepare us to tell everyone of the joy of salvation. Passing on Information
One way to pass the information I have learned in this course to those within my circle of
influence is simply through conversation. For example, when the topic of school comes up, I can tell them what I have learned in this course, or when the topic of salvation, church, or witnessing comes up, I can tell them what I have learned about sharing the Gospel. I believe that conversation is a great way to do this, because it can help to encourage each other to share our faith with unbelievers. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 says, “Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do” (KJV). Another way to share this information is through text messages. Many of my friends and acquaintances who live far apart create group messages where they send devotionals, Bible verses, encouraging messages, biblical advice, etc. I could use this idea and start a group text that
focuses on growing in faith and spreading the Gospel. Through this, I can share the valuable information that I have learned in this course.
