Defining Critical Thinking Each person has their own way of defining critical thinking. There are a lot of ways to define what critical thinking means and people use it every day without even realizing it. Critical
thinking is something as humans we must learn. This essay will put into perspective what critical
thinking is and give a better definition. Critical Thinking is how people use their minds for thinking and have the study and access to their minds that receives information and the ability to use it for educational reasons (Birjandi et al., 2019). School teaches critical thinking at such a young age and use may different
skills like problem solving, thinking skills, and reasoning but as children get older and get into high school those skills are not used much for educational purposes. We use these skills as adults
in our everyday life for example we must figure out when our bills are due and pay them each month. Going to grocery store how much money can we spend; what all do we need can we afford everything on the list. We use all the skills in are adult day-to-day life and if children were taught these skills earlier rather than later. They would be able to handle situations different. According to Glaser (2019), critical thinking is the willing to think in a caring way for situations that will come one’s way but have qualities and case in using them. Some skills that critical thinking is the act of identifying problems, solving those problems, and gathering information. Nobody is perfect when it comes to critical thinking nobody knows everything about it either. But if we use the skills and data out there that is provided to us, we can become more knowledgeable about it and use it to helps us set up for success and be able to find more solutions to problems.

We are taught at an early age to think before we act an example is before we hit someone we consider if there is going to be consequence of our actions. Critical thinking is a skill that allows people to make informed and knowledgeable decisions based on the details that are accessible to them (O’Reilly et al., 2022). Some skills we use earlier on when learning how to critically think is guideline of thought, thinking is based off information, training of thought and reasoning. Anyone that has been around toddlers or kids around age two to three know that they watch everyone that close to them and follow their actions. That it is why it is important to use a simple tone talking to people even if people do not believe the same thing as they grow up and think it is okay to not use their minds and review the situation and simply agree to disagree
It is human of us to use our brains to think. As we get older critical thinking is not used in
school but needs to be so kids can succeed academically. It is important for everyone to know that nobody thinks the same and be considerate when someone has a different opinion. Children at an early age are taught how to use critical thinking in school and use it in the world but also use their imagination. Kids are constantly watching adults that is why it is important for us not to
be bias and give good examples and meaning for critical thinking, so they can use those same skills.
