2 The Three key ideas in the study of ethics social contracts, feminist ethics, and ethical relativism offer different viewpoints on how we should negotiate the challenging moral terrain of our lives. Especially feminist ethics highlights the values and rules that come from the viewpoints and experiences of women. It questions normal rules of ethics that frequently ignore or minimize the particular ethical issues that women face. Instead, it places heavily on the value of issue, empathy, and connectivity in making ethical decisions. There are several ethical frameworks to take into account in this circumstance while determining how to react to a coworker who is attempting to cross the street to go to the bus stop. Let's consider the possibilities under the cover of contractarianism, the ethics of care, and enlightened self-interest. Enlightened Self-Interest: This viewpoint says that people should behave in their own best interests while also taking into account the long-term effects of their choices. For the following reasons, one might decide to help the coworker in this situation. We consider based workplace environment, reciprocity and reputation and networking. You contribute to a more welcoming and encouraging workplace by supporting the coworker. This might enhance your own work experience while improving employee morale and teamwork. It's possible that by giving out, your coworker may be helpful and kind to you in the future should you need assistance. Being able to help others shows that you care about their welfare, and this could improve your professional standing inside the organization.
3 Contractarianism: Based on the notion of social agreements and contracts between people, contracting is an ethics theory. According to this viewpoint, your choice to assist the colleague will be determined by your feeling of duty and respect for existing rules and principles. There is a social agreement implicitly that exists in the workplace amongst coworkers create harmony and cooperation. Helping the colleague is consistent with the letter of this agreement, creating a more favorable work environment. Contractarianism posits that individuals should act in a way that benefits both parties. By assisting your coworker, you support the unspoken rule of cooperation and assistance among coworkers in the workplace. Respecting the rights of your colleague, in this case, her right to safely access the bus stop, is consistent with the principles of fairness and respect integral to contractarian ethics. The Ethics of Care emphasizes the importance of empathy, compassion, and relationships in making ethical decisions. With this framework, your actions would be determined by your sense of duty and compassion. Helping your colleague is a demonstration of empathy and compassion for her situation, accepting her vulnerability and need for assistance. The Ethics of Care says that we're all connected to each other, and we have a moral duty to take care of people in our social groups. This means you should help your colleague because she's like a friend in your workplace community. Helping your colleague shows that you understand and care about her situation, recognizing that she's in a tough spot and needs a hand. The Ethics of Care reminds us that we're all connected, and we should look out for others in our social groups, just like you should help your colleague as a part of your workplace community.

4 Ultimately, the decision to assist your struggling colleague would depend on your personal values and priorities, but each of these ethical frameworks can provide a moral rationale for helping. Enlightened Self-Interest, Contractarianism, and the Ethics of Care all emphasize the importance of considering not only your own interests but also the well-being and rights of others in the workplace, making a strong case for extending a helping hand in this scenario.
