Logos= appeals to logic, facts Pathos= appeals to emotions Ethos= appeals to credibility of character What technique is more effective in an argument? In my opinion pathos is the most persuasive in an argument because most people always go with what they are feeling when trying to decide something. People always say they are following their heart and to me that is like following your emotions. I think that logos are most persuasive in an argument. A conclusion is more believable when there are clear and coherent facts backing it. It is difficult to argue with evidence, especially if sources are strong.
