Evaluating the Environment
-Use a checklist to perform safety inspections according to institution policy.
-Prepare a report on your findings.
-Verify that safety needles are used and properly disposed of.
-Identify safety techniques that can be used in responding to accidental exposure to blood, other body fluids, and chemicals.
Safety in the POL
-Be alert and conscientious.

Categories of Testing
-Waived

-Laboratory tests on a certificate of waiver may be billed to Medicaid and Medicare
Quality Assurance
