Recommendati ons The key stakeholders include the health care system as a whole and the patient. We are in the business of treating people and not keeping them in the hospital longer. Once a regime is set for a patient it is our duty to make sure they stick with it. Once they feel better, they are more likely to stick with a program
Recommendati ons Using proper education of medications given to treat hypertension is just ne way to insure adherence. As the practitioner, we are also supposed to advocate to make sure the patient it able to afford the medications we are prescribing or an equivalent If exercise is apart of that regime we have to set obtainable goals with the patient so that they stick with it
Conclusion In conclusion, there are many factors that cause hypertension in the African American community. Genetics is something we can not control, but diet and lifestyle we can. In order to correct the issue, we have to work with the patient to set up a plan whether it is with medications or just diet changes, to make sure we set them up for success.
