The primary purpose of this article was to be able to inform that the findings of research should be made available to not only other professionals but also the public. It can also be used to provide tips on way to be able to compose a successful research paper that can not only get the attention of readers and not just professionals in science. When trying to eliminate “fake news” he gives details on how research should be presented publicly and how to stay away from re- search papers that provide “fake news” 8. Summarize in a paragraph of your own words what Mainous recommends primary care researchers do when publishing future scientific studies to overcome science denial and claims of “fake news”. When producing information, Mainous recommends that primary care re- searchers should keep their publishing simple so that it can be not only un- derstood, but also relatable to the public. Placing the importance on health literacy and disproving false information. Many times, the researcher only reach out to the scientific audience. When they use unexciting topics and big words, these can lead to people becoming less interested in the re- search. Helping to get the message out, they can share research with the media. Some of the ideas that the audience does not understand, the media can assist by translating it. Mainous (2018) uses the example that an effec- tive message must be something like, "our study found that eating fried but- ter at the county fair increases your risk of a heart attack and dying." 3
