Students are expected to address the initial discussion question by Wednesday of each week. Participation in the discussion forum requires a minimum of three (3) substantive postings (this includes your initial post and posting to two peers) on three (3) different days. Substantive means that you add something new to the discussion. This is also a time to ask questions or offer information surrounding the topic addressed by your peers. Personal experience is appropriate for a substantive discussion, however, should
be correlated to the literature.
All discussion boards will be evaluated utilizing rubric criteria inclusive of content, analysis, collaboration, and writing. If you fail to post an initial discussion or the initial discussion is late, you will not receive points for content and analysis, you may however
post to your peers for partial credit following the guidelines above.

Please review post and response expectations. Please review the rubric to ensure that your response meets criteria. Estimated time to complete: 1 hour I have three kids, two boys and a daughter! I am currently a stay-at-home mom while getting my degree as a medical assistant. After school I plan to find a clinic to work at but right now, I am not sure. As we meet with our proctors, I believe the P.R.I.C.E. model is very important, having respect for our proctors and also the patients we meet with, our proctors are taking the time out of their day to help us. having a professional appearance and being caring to the proctor and any patients we may work with and always have integrity as Medical Assisting Student.
If the patient was given the wrong medication, I would immediately contact the patient it was given too along with contacting the provider, then figure out what medication is the right one for that patient. But I would double check all of my work and information to prevent any mistakes. Learning the proper pronunciation of medications and their uses will be very important to me, making sure I do what I need to do to achieve the right ways to learn the materials will be on the top of my priority list. My question to everyone, how are you learning the pronunciation of medication and their uses?
