Cooperative Learning Strategy

Rally Coach Partners take turns, one works on solving a problem, while the other coaches. How Can You Use This? This strategy is a great one to implement during a math lesson. Each student will work through a problem while their partner coaches them in the process to arrive at the final answer. Each student is engaged as it has one student actively working on the problem and the other recalling the lesson materials and concepts to effectively coach their partner.

Positive Interdependence – each teammate is assigned a role. Individual Accountabili ty – students will turn in their own work and show their own work. Equal Participation – this strategy uses a turn–taking structure
