This ratio, which is the slope of the line, is called pi (π). The formula graphed is circumference = pi* diameter. This is an equation of the form y = mx where the slope m is pi (π). Slope is also equal to the circumference over the diameter (rise/run) and the equation would then be 2πr/2r which when simplified would equal pi (π) hence why the slope is equal or is also known as π.
