Jadallah Shehadeh, David Kehl, Carson G., Trinity Lab 1: intro to numerical methods Purpose (1-2) The purpose of this lab is to learn how to graph and learning how to use the app to graph. Procedures (1/2pg) The second part we did the graphs and followed all the steps Reflection (1,2) 1.The net volume error was mostly in step four because of all the rounding. 0.05 made a huge difference and it played around with the percent error. 2. The volume was okay and the pecent errors were of by a little percentage. Had some trouble because it was showing four boxes and had no probles after.
Jadallah Shehadeh, David Kehl, Carson G., Trinity Lab 1: intro to numerical methods Application (1, 2, 3) 1. The Aurelian captain’s feathers puff up due to her species’ unique biological response to certain situations. In this case, the Vulcan helmsman’s precise time reports might be causing her agitation. Aurelians, being a species that values a more holistic and intuitive approach to time and space navigation, might find the Vulcan’s precise and analytical approach somewhat grating. This clash of cultures and methodologies aboard the starship could be the reason for the captain’s visible agitation. 2. The lab coordinator’s preference for rounding to the nearest five minutes could be due to a desire for simplicity and efficiency. In many contexts, a difference of a minute or two is not significant, so rounding can make the time easier to remember and communicate. If you asked your TA for the time, they might give you a more precise answer, depending on their own habits and the culture of the lab. 3. 1,000,000,000,000 / 1024 - 976,562,500 kB / 1024 - 956,476.494 MB / 1024 - 934.059 GB / 1024 = 0.9095 TB. Percent error = 0.9095 -1/1 - 9.05% Conclusion (systematic error) (not human) (1 paragraph) This lab emphasized the importance of precision in scientific experiments and the impact of seemingly minor factors on the final results. It also underscored the relevance of these learnings in diverse real-world situations.
