Part 2 Situation Analysis Lee needs to find strengths and weaknesses within her new business. To find these things she can start off by doing a survey of her customers to find out what they think the strengths and weaknesses are. She then can call a meeting with her employees to get their input on what they think they need to change in the company and on the menu. Lee needs to use the SWOT analysis. This will help her find the weaknesses and strengths of her juice bar. According to Hui (2007) you should use a blank grid and four columns’ strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and weaknesses then you should list what should go in what column. Lee’s Juice Bar will be in Kansas City, Missouri. This is a good place to put a juice bar at. According to the United States Census Bureau (2020). Kansas City, Missouri has a population of 508,090 people that live in the city. 4 J (2019) according to Joe smart sensors help to fill beverage with different sizes and can be switched on a fly. The advice for Lee would be different. This strategy would enhance the customer experience. Let the customer have a voice this will help to have a large customer loyalty. This will help build Lee’s business. She should have a loyalty program that will help her keep customers keep coming and also help her get new customers. Part 3 Marketing Objectives Lee’s marketing plan objectives would be to target a 20 percent customer base within the next 6 months. By doing this she can expand her juice bar in Kansas City Missouri.by adding a new store in the high tourist area this could increase the sales up to 40 percent or more. The SMART goals that Lee has her eyes on is achievable and with new smart technology that is available to she can use this to her advantage to get more juice drinks out of the door faster. Part Four Marketing Strategy Due to the good location of Lee’s Juice Bar, it will be highly recommended to focus on young people and on tourists community. By targeting these communities, the word about the juice bar can get out over social media and this can help to bring in a lot of new customers from towns close to Kansas City and even out of state. A good marketing strategy is one of four strategies of growth. Market penetration is the first one with this strategy your market will increase with your existing customers. The second would be market development. With market development Lee would attract
5 customers with existing products she has available. The third strategy would be product development, which Lee would create new products to put out with this strategy this will help to bring in more customers by keep adding different products. The last strategy would be diversification this is to allow new products for a new market Lee would use this to target older people. The marketing mix strategy is also called the four P’s which is Product, Place, Pricing, and Promotion. At Lee’s Juice Bar we will focus on pricing and promotions by doing this it will help us keep out customers and obtain new customers. When customers look for product pricing is a main priority when it come to a juice bar. We will have promotions that will be sent out to our loyal customers. We will also have discount for our military and first responder customers. We will have surveys available on our website that our customers can fill out that we can view their input. Part Five Implementation Lee’s juice bar has been established for a while, but the mission is to turn it around and gain some traction. This will require some change and with change will also come some resistance. Part of the implementation moving forward is to apply those changes we can be flexible as there will be resistance we will have to overcome. With the plan we have set we have targeted a certain demographic to help some foothold. We then will get word out to our nearby towns. Part of my job is to research and how to market
6 Lee’s Juice Bar in a better way and to adjust accordingly this will be crucial to how we roll out new improvements. Part Six Evaluation Now the evaluation process is just as important. Lee will have a projected timeline to meet her budget limitations and we recommend a change if it goes sideways. I will focus on the public relations we have a lot of military here in Missouri and I will focus spreading the will give an incentive to those who will bring a friend to but our products. They will receive a discount. This is something we haven’t seen much here in Missouri where there is many other states that utilize this tactic. This will help us gain some traction. It is important to evaluate and control in real time then waiting later.
