Hello,
I'm Nikki, currently pursuing my associate degree at Ivy Tech with plans to transfer for a bachelor’s degree in business management. I have been with my current employer for 10 years.
I want to continue to grow within the company, so I decided it was time to get my degree so I can continue down my career path.
My LinkedIn profile header would be the following: Seasoned and proactive sales manager with a comprehensive history in sales and leadership within the mobility manufacturing sector. followed by more details which includes, Successfully balanced cost reduction with increased sales and heightened customer satisfaction. Played a pivotal role in implementing multiple programs, optimizing processes, and enhancing e-commerce utilization. A proficient leader with finely tuned listening skills, committed to delivering business results and ensuring customer satisfaction.
I'm targeting individuals seeking higher managerial roles in sales or process optimization. These
prospects are likely to focus on keywords such as "reduction" and "increased sales" in their hiring criteria. I aim to convey that I possess managerial experience and a strong ability to identify and implement measures for reducing waste and optimizing time efficiency.

Hey Nicole,
I really like your profile header. I think it is very eye catching and tells me exactly what it is that you do. I also like the way you summed up some of your accomplishments. Your keywords are spot on with your target audience. If I had to make a suggestion it would be to add some data into your accomplishments and roles. These could be the number of programs you played a role in implementing or the percentage of utilization enhancement you achieved. Reducing waste is a key component in manufacturing.

Hi Nikki,
I enjoyed reading your response and I must say that I agree with you. Once you obtain the bachelors degree and mix that in with your time on the job, I'm sure the opportunities will be endless. Your LinkedIn header sounds very professional and educated, which is two things that
can and will grab an employer eye. The key words are a big attraction when looking for potential
applicants and they click well with your target audience. Your header outlines someone who is well-rounded and very committed to progressing in the field. If I have one thing I would say to add personal achievements/accolades on the job. Reply Reply to Comment

My name is Hannah Chlumsky. I am a working mother of two and I began my first attempt at higher learning in Fall 2023 at Ivy Tech. I was homeschooled with very little high school level education achieved. I earned my HSE as an adult in 2014 at the age of 34. I wasn’t sure if I would ever take college courses, but I have recently become motivated to pursue a degree. I have faith in myself and I have been getting good grades so far.
The majority of my work experience has been in facilities maintenance; I was a painting contractor and then a city employee painter until the past three years, when I was promoted to office work. I now enjoy a rewarding position as the Forensic Operations Manager of the Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency, commonly known as the crime lab. This is a key motivation for my pursuit of a degree, nearly everyone in the crime lab has at least one degree and I am a little ashamed of being undereducated. My likely career goal from this position would be CFO or COO, so I am working towards a business degree. I am starting with the technical certificate so as not to overwhelm myself, but plan to transfer my credits to an Associates and then TSAP to IUPUI eventually.
My LinkedIN profile could benefit from including this header:
Forensic Operations Manager at the Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency. Passionate about serving the community and committed to enhancing agency operations. Experienced in managing emergency response vehicles, addressing employee needs, and maintaining laboratory equipment. Striving for excellence in forensic science and public service.
At this juncture of my career, I am not looking to relocate, which would be a necessity of seeking
a job outside of this agency. Bearing that in mind, the purpose of my profile is to project an image of professionalism to those within and outside of our agency. I also aim to network with individuals in local government and forensic science professionals nationwide and globally.

Hi Hannah,
I enjoyed reading about your story, and I have full confidence in your ability to achieve your degree. As I read through your response and you mentioned working at the Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency, it instantly reminded me of the crime shows I've watched. I genuinely hope that your work is as captivating and thrilling in real life as it is portrayed on TV. As for your header, it effectively conveys a strong commitment to public service and showcases your experience as a Forensic Operations Manager. The clarity in stating your dedication to enhancing agency operations and your passion for serving the community is admirable. The mention of managing emergency response vehicles, addressing employee needs, and maintaining laboratory equipment demonstrates a well rounded skill set in overseeing critical aspects of forensic operations. To strengthen your networking goals, you could specify how you
plan to engage with local government and forensic science professionals, whether through collaboration, conferences, or other networking avenues. Providing more context on your professional achievements and networking strategies could make your profile more compelling to those both within and outside your agency. Overall, your header is excellent, and I extend my
best wishes on your academic and professional journey!

Hello Hannah, it's so amazing you have decided to go back to college no matter the circumstances that were given to you, so props!! I think that having experience in life will push you so much farther in college than the high school classes you may have missed. I am 20 and a sophomore here at Ivy Tech and I feel as if high school did not prepare much for college so I have high hopes you're going to kill it this year! Opinion-based I think the fact you work at the same place as many people with a degree shows that you do not need one to get a great job even though getting a degree feels great and looks great to employers. Working at a crime lab is also one of the coolest things I have heard and can only imagine the crazy things you have

I'm Carrington, currently pursuing an associate degree in Business Administration. I am open to transferring to obtain a Bachelors in the future. I am employed by GE Appliances and have been
for 5 years. My current role is Senior Project Coordinator. I plan on to grow within the company and make it a career. Real Estate is something that I do as well, and have been for 2 years. My

Organized and detailed-oriented project management experience with excellent interpersonal and oral communication. Self starter with the ability to quickly pivot and adapt as unexpected situations arise, while maintaining composure and positive attitude. Hi Carrington,
I enjoyed reading your response to this discussion board and getting to know a little bit about yourself. It's interesting to see the growing interest in real estate, and it's amazing that you and your brother have teamed up to manage a rental property. Moving to your header, it effectively demonstrates your proficiency in project management, especially in multi-family new build and renovation projects. The use of keywords like "new build" and "renovation" precisely targets individuals with specific project needs. Adding words to describe yourself such as "self starter" and addressing how you handle stress and conflict builds trust. On the other hand, incorporating
specific projects you've successfully completed would boost the credibility of your header. Additionally, specifying the scope or scale of your projects could provide potential clients with a clearer understanding of your capabilities. Overall, it's a great header!

Hi Carrington, I love how you open right up with words like well-versed, organized, and detailed-
oriented, these are words that many employers will type in the search bar when looking for candidates for a position or job. Your header seems to be worded great, short and simple. The audience you have targeted seems to match your header pretty well, you seem focused on project management and having the working database of previous work relationships and family
and friends is huge. I think the things I may add in your heading would be something involving your ability to excel in the world of real estate and maybe add some kind of number figure of projects, like an over under type of thing, something like "have overseen the completion of over 300 projects involving "blank". Just something to contribute to your creditability as a management professional. Reply Reply to Comment

Hi Carrington
I appreciate the specificity of your focus on project management in your heading, utilizing key words such as organized and demonstrating excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills. Your emphasis on maintaining composure and a positive attitude is a notable aspect that resonates well with individuals seeking project managers. Highlighting your ability to quickly adapt to unexpected situations is crucial in project management, where unforeseen challenges often demand rapid decision-making for project continuity.
One suggestion to enhance clarity is to explicitly state the type of projects you aim to manage. For instance, specify whether you aspire to oversee the construction of new multi-family housing
units or the renovation of existing buildings to accommodate multi-family facilities. Providing this
additional detail in the first sentence can offer a clearer understanding of your professional focus.
You may consider incorporating specific details about your past experiences in project management, including relevant metrics that showcase your effectiveness. This can further strengthen your profile by offering tangible evidence of your capabilities in successfully overseeing and delivering projects.

seniors by providing professional guardianship and power of attorney services. I am also working to further extend my ethical advocacy through my pursuit of a degree in accounting. This will allow me to further safeguard the financial interests of the seniors I am dedicated to. Whether navigating the healthcare system or managing assets, my commitment is to help seniors face aging challenges with confidence. My LinkedIn profile has a target audience of financial and legal professionals. I receive most of my referrals from senior care facilities and attorneys. Hi Erika!
Thanks for your hugely important work advocating for seniors! It is so important for a vulnerable demographic, especially if they don’t have trustworthy family to aid them. I was at the ER with my daughter on Sunday, and the poor elderly man behind the curtain next door had suffered a terrible fall at home, crushing two vertebrae and a rib. An adult child was there, his POA, and they were discussing how to deal with an abusive family member that was living at home, sounded like a son or a grandson. Theft of medication and personal property. Just hearing the vague details hurt my heart, and the man might never walk again. I love that you are out there doing that good work to help prevent things like this.
I applaud you on being so far into your accounting degree. Math is what I struggle with the most.
I am pushing my math requirements as far into the future as I can, while I make my way through
Kahn Academy to refresh what I do know and learn what I don’t. It is gratifying to be able to help
my 6th grader in her common-core assignments and not be lost, but I’ll be glad when I can leave math alone for a while :) I appreciate your understanding of the LinkedIn header and the constraints of the 220-character limit. I think that your header is succinct and tells me what your skill set is. I believe that your profile will attract the kind of interest you are aiming for. My only suggestion is that the description following the header might be a bit personable, but you are targeting a different demographic, as the families are likely seeking the personal touch for their loved ones.

Hi there, I'm Nathalia! I graduated from high school in 2022, and currently, I'm on the process of earning my prerequisite credits from Ivy Tech. My goal is to pursue a bachelor's degree in Business Marketing. Right now, I'm deciding between IU and Purdue – both excellent options in Northwest Indiana among a few others. My family is my biggest inspiration, particularly my mom, who is a dedicated nurse. Despite the challenges, I see her commitment and hard work every day, and it motivates me to strive for the same level of perseverance in my career. I can only hope to be half as amazing as she is. Currently, I'm balancing part time work at a bank with my studies. Looking ahead, my post bachelor's degree plan involves working in an office, though the specifics are a bit hazy at the moment. I'm still young and hopefully later on down the road I truly settle on what I want to do in
life. What I do know is that my heart is set on eventually opening my own event planning business. My passion started at a party store I used to work at, where I discovered a genuine passion for being a part of significant milestones in people's lives whether it may be birthdays, weddings, or baby showers. With that being said, I think people should do what they LOVE and not work at a job they hate because it pays the bills.
My LinkedIn profile header would include the following:
A dedicated professional in the banking industry, who is passionate about making a positive impact on people's daily lives through financial assistance. Beyond that current role, aspires to leverage creativity and passion for connecting with others by establishing an event planning business, creating unforgettable experiences for clients' significant life moments.
Through my header, my goal to connect with those who share the "passion" for fostering a "positive impact" in everyday life, particularly in the realm of customer service where the constant effort to create positive interactions is crucial. Echoing the words of primatologist Jane Goodall, I believe that every action we take can make a difference, and it's essential to determine the kind of impact we aspire to create.

Hi Nathalia, I think it's great to come out of high school and be so focused on your future, you seem to be heading in the right direction and I know plans change quite often but I agree with
work should be something you love. An old saying is, "You'll never work a day in your life doing something you love". I like how in your heading you used words like dedicated, passion, and empathizing the positive impact you would make. Marketing is a tough and brutal area in the business world, so making it be known that you have a passion for it and want to help create those lasting relationships will definitely help the audience look at your profile. I would maybe only add how you would be wailing to learn and grow to not only help create lasting working relationships, but to keep and hold onto those, the business world is always changing and being
willing to change with it is huge. Reply Reply to Comment

I like your positive and charismatic approach in your profile. It's evident that you aim to create a positive experience for your clients by leveraging your creativity and passion, and using words like creativity, passion, and positive impact effectively targets the audience you want to appeal to.
To enhance clarity, consider adjusting the order of your sentences. Starting with your desire to leverage creativity and passion to create positive experiences for clients can provide a more focused introduction. Following that, you can provide a background in banking and financial assistance, listing relevant experiences in the workforce to establish your professional foundation. This way, you align your profile more closely with the type of role you are seeking, and it may better attract the audience you intend to reach.

Hello fellow classmates, My name is Winter Helsel and I just turned 20 recently! I am in my second year of business administration but would love to continue on a 4-year-college for business marketing! My motivation for getting my degree is not to let the cards given to me ruin my potential for the future. I want to be able to say I got myself out of that hole and although I do not have children now I am thinking of their future and what I could do to set them up in the best way possible. I
have only traveled in the States but I would love to be able to work my future job in marketing anywhere I go, with that being said I love how social media has evolved my generation and how
it's going to affect future generations so I am also hoping to learn the ways of social media and allow that to push me past the limits of the average 9-5. My LinkedIn Profile would say: Helping business leaders make marketing happen again! Professional hard-working marketing associate who uses unique-attributes to find your target market all while easily having the resources to find a bid, a budget, and a schedule that will work
for you and your team. Passionate about the power of social media and finding growth through specific data analysis for you and your company. I would be writing my Linkedln post for companies to find me and use me to build their brands and get them out to the correct market. Allowing for me to help can allow them to find what groups of people can help them grow, what ad's, where to put them, and why they need to put ad's there to target their correct market. Allowing for someone to help pick up the load and find other ways they may not have tried to get sales can allow for many new customers!

I can tell through your post that you are a driven individual. I like your header a lot. I think you keyed in on
your specialty. I would maybe change the wording. The "you and yours" twice in the header is repetitive. I think that you could leave the first as "you" and the last as "your company." Hello, my name is Audrey Mize and I'm currently I’m working in the parts department for an Allison Transmission dealer, I enjoy my job a lot because I create such great business relationships with customers all over the Midwest. They are very understanding when it comes to problems or parts delays because of the strong relationships built. I still try and do everything I can to help anyone out, whether it’s a customer, or a co-worker. I have great attention to detail and have over four years experience in parts inventory, and order management. My target audience is for potential recruiters looking to hire in the department I am currently involved in. I enjoy most of what I do and the skills required really boil down to being accurate in

I like your weird combination of organization and fishing. I’ll bet your tackle box is impressive and well-organized. I relate to what you shared about your son. I have one myself, though he’s outgrown the little days. He is 25 and graduated from Purdue with a degree in electrical engineering. He started out his first job making quite a bit more than I ever have. Being a mother is rewarding, and it sounds like you are giving your son a lot to look up to.
Your job sounds interesting. I spent some time working in the facilities management tool crib when I was on light duty one year. I enjoyed organizing, stocking and finding the “customers” just what they needed, whether they quite knew what it was or not. I also enjoyed maintaining relationships with vendors. I have trained as a maintenance and reliability professional as well, and I appreciate your understanding of the importance of predicting the stock that will be needed, versus reacting and increasing downtime while waiting on parts.
I believe that your header will attract recruiters, it speaks to your type of experience and your description of your current job lends credibility to your knowledge. I would encourage you to experiment with placing the text in your actual LinkedIn profile, because I found out the hard way that there is a 220-character limit and I had to pare down some phrases that I really liked. I enjoy having a LinkedIn profile but am consistently humbled when I see how polished other professionals are when I go looking! you choose to go to a four year institution!

solving, trouble arises in every business venture. I suggest emphasizing and expounding upon your experience. Really "sell" yourself and show off what you've done! That could give you an edge with your audience over other potential interns. Respectfully,

Hello Clarice. I have seen lots of jobs in Marketing hear lately. Seems like a great profession to go in. You could even be the manager over a field of marketing at some places. Something I really like about your header was that you added lots of skills so the employer will know early on
what they are getting themselves into. Due to you wanting to go into fashion and knowing how brandy fashion could be you might add something like an undergrad seeking a management internship role in a fashion based company. After that I would add something about why they should pick you and maybe arrange your skill that way.

Hi all, I’m a single mother of two who just recently completed the technical certificate in business administration. I’m currently in the last year of my associates in business administration and plan to transfer to IUSB upon completion. There my plan is to complete my bachelor’s in business economics and urban development. Working as a community health worker has
aligned my interests with my passion to help individuals thrive. Through my work I sit on different boards of directors to non-profit organizations servicing our area. My hope is to open a facility dedicated to creating a community of servant leaders. My current LinkedIn profile has the following bio.
A servant leader who strives to make this community a great place to live, work and play. My drive is the belief individuals can thrive in an inclusive community where diversity is cultivated and avenues for growth are created. I work to create spaces where people can connect to resources and feel encouraged to thrive. My target audience is other community partners who are also looking to build an inclusive community. My hope is to attract individuals seeking project/ program managers to be part of their team. I’ve also added my leadership roles in my profile to highlight my ability to lead diverse teams. My key terms are diversity, inclusion, thriving communities and project management. Reply Reply to Comment

Hi Mayra
I read that you plan to attend IUSB and I actually attended there for a semester! South Bend is my hometown. I think South Bend would be an amazing place to open a community facility. I think your profile header nails what you want to do. Perhaps you could add a why? Something that I always want to know about people in the non-profit space is what inspired you do that kind
of work? Was it a person, an event? I think this will bring a level of personal connection that sets
you apart from other non-profits.

Hello class,
My name is Josiah Miracle. I graduated in May of 2022 with an associate's degree in supply chain management and figured it would be enough to get an entry level job somewhere. Boy was I wrong. After graduating, I took some time off of school to look for a job, with no luck. I decided to come back to school here at Ivy Tech to pursue another associate's degree, this time
in business administration. Following that, I plan on transferring into a four year program to finish out a bachelor's degree in supply chain management or business administration. Eventually, I would like to own my own business and lately I have been really interested in finance and/or sales.

Hi Josiah,
I have to ask, what kind of business would you like to own and operate? Just keep going after it and you will land a role that will be perfect for you. I am studying business administration right along with you. Your LinkedIn header displays some very good details to gain employers attention. If I had to add something it would be to go into detail a little more about supply chain management and how what your role was handling the production of the good or service. Josiah, I'm sorry to hear that you did not find what you were looking for after graduation but it's great that you decided to go back to school and keep working towards you goal. That says great things about you. Owning your own business would be a great opportunity. I liked your header a
lot, I think that possibly leaving out the "I have an interest in learning about the particular industries of finance and sales." and replacing it with "I am interested in finance and sales industry positions." would open your profile up to employers with more of a direct statement. I think you did a great job of demonstrating your strengths as well as experience. I like the thought of finding professors in the field as well. That is great opportunity for growth and expanding your knowledge. Have a great semester! Natalie Reply Reply to Comment

Hello, Josiah. I am also studying business administration for the time being. Regarding your LinkedIn header, having "relevant leadership experience" should catch the eye of your intended audience. Also, your sentences are a good length and not unnecessarily wordy, in my opinion. I suggest focusing on one or two industries, though. Reading this leaves me wondering what your

Hello, I'm Melanie - a Christian, married, mother of three who loves musicals! Singing and acting
are my passions and I hope to perform in musicals after graduation. I'm nearing completion of my associate degree in Business Administration then plan to transfer to the University of Southern Indiana for Accounting. Once that is finished, I'll take my CPA exam and hopefully move up in my company.
My LinkedIn header could read:
Experienced Accounting Specialist - knowledge of General Ledger balancing with proficiency in credit/debit card exceptions. Excellent teamwork with the ability to self-manage. Proven dependability and enthusiasm about assisting others. Since I'm very happy at my current employer, my intended audience is other accounting students and employees. We can network and share tips of the trade. They will likely be looking for my current school and accounting specialty to see what, if anything, we have in common. My

there. Full-Time Ivy Tech student, enrolled in B.O.A.T. I have 22-years' experience of organization, timely production, inventory keeping, product scheduling and safety. to me. My LinkedIn header would be " Organized and detail oriented professional seeking to advocate for employee rights and labor laws. Driven by creating a positive employee experience. " When I looked online for ideas and examples, a lot sites said to highlight your goals and passions and I felt that this headline draws an employer to me as an HR professional by hitting important topics to me while also stating my strengths as an employee. i don't work in a professional setting currently but I would love feedback to change and/or add things in for post-

My name is Melanie and I'm currently working as an Instacart shopper full-time while I'm in school, until I can find a substantial remote job. As of this spring, I'll have my associate's degree
from Ivy Tech. I would like to obtain my bachelor's degree from a four-year university and study abroad, most likely in international business with a minor in psychology.
Right now I'm so busy with school, work, and hobbies that the only thing motivating me to wake up in the morning is coffee. However, since I was young it's been my dream to travel the world and be immersed in different cultures, learn how to cook local cuisine, meet new people, and learn new languages. I haven't figured out exactly what my long-term career goals are, but I know that I would like to open my own business and somehow help people. My goal in life is to save enough money to buy a piece of property, build my own home, and live off the land while helping others in any way possible along the way. Before I started working as an Instacart shopper, what started as a mural painting for my sister's
(and her fiancee's) new grocery store turned into a full-time job. We learned she was pregnant right as they signed a lease, and what started with stocking shelves turned into buying and managing inventory, finding wholesalers, developing recipes (and cooking), creating relationships with customers, and more. My LinkedIn profile header would read, Business student seeking remote opportunities in international business, project management, or product development. Passionate for promoting sustainable, eco-friendly, and innovative companies. Managerial experience, Natural leader, Certified Yogi, Artist. My target audience would be potential employers or recruiters for the field of business. they might be looking for qualifications, achievements, education, and work experience. I think it's best to keep a professional yet personable tone and to stay concise. Your
headline should summarize the person you are in the workplace.

Your LinkedIn header is concise, yet you still managed to give a comprehensive overview of your skills and aspirations. Your profile aligns well with your target audience as is, however another sentence that highlights more of your skills/strengths would make your profile more attractive to potential employers!

Hello,
I'm Jake. I am 22 years young and and I'm pursuing a degree in Business Administration. I have
only one semester left which is pretty exciting, however I don't have a job or specific plan lined up after I graduate. I am a creative individual, which has always pushed me in the direction of entrepreneurship and the arts. One passion of mine is cooking which is currently my job as well.
I think food has a weird way of connecting people and I love being able to make people good food. Comedy is my other passion and although I have always watched it, it wasn't until recently
I started working on the preforming side. My future plans are to travel and keep growing my skills and knowledge. My LinkedIn header would be something along of the lines of: A creative, works better under pressure, flexible and adaptive. A good communicator with an ability to lead with competence or
follow with diligence. Open minded but steadfast in values. I think in my personal situation with the little experience I actually have keeping it short and sweet is probably my best bet. Since I don't have any career accomplishments yet and I don't have much knowledge of any one industry, I figured highlighting what makes me stand out as an individual would be the best for employers to see. I would say the intended audience is another person or organization that has a meaningful project.

My name is Kinley Simonton and I am a second year Ivy tech student. After this semester, I plan
to obtain my associates in business administration and move on to a four year school to continue my education. My biggest driving force is my 1 year old son Walker. Everything I do is for him, he is everything good! I am passionate about homesteading and photography. Currently
I have a little backyard chicken herd (40 counts as little right?) and I run my own photography business! In the future, I hope that my photography gig can earn me a full time salary and help me move my family onto a farm with a lot more land… and a lot more animals. My goal is to shoot 7 weddings next year! I consider myself to be a lifelong learner, but I’m currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration. I am a skilled restaurant manager with 7 years of experience in a quick service, high demand setting. My time in this field has made me a master communicator, a quick thinker,
and a problem solver. My team always knows they can count on me to be ten toes down working right alongside them during challenging times, whether that be the Covid 19 pandemic or a hectic lunch rush. I have a passion for leadership development and always take the time to
develop better leadership skills within my team. The target audience for my linked in profile would be colleagues and other professionals in the restaurant or retail industry. With my credentials as an experienced store manager, hiring managers and scouts will be drawn to my page when they are looking for someone to fill that role. My experience in a fast paced, high demand environment would be appealing as it confirms my ability to work and lead under immense amounts of pressure. My hope is that after interacting with my LinkedIn profile, I would be perceived as a capable manager that supports and motivates her team, all while driving store sales and building more leaders. Hello Dalton,
I like how you mentioned your job experience as an employer can see this and know that you are a hard-working person because you have a job and are a student at the same time. Not just only that but you also hyped yourself up at the end of your header which is good as an employer
can get a better understanding of the type of individual you are. One thing I would suggest for your header is to just maybe move your details about yourself to the beginning of your header as this is what the employer is going to be looking at. You want to catch the eye of a potential employer as a first impression means a lot in this day and age. I would also put more experience/education in the field you want to go into as these are the two things a potential employer will be browsing for when searching for a potential candidate. Hello Victor, I like how you mentioned that something that motivates you is finding things to work towards. This is a great example of short-term goals, and it could indicate you have long-
term goals as well. From an employer's point of view, this could show that you are a driven individual which is something an employer could be looking for in their next hire. Also, something especially good in your header includes your experience in management as a shift manager at McDonald's. Some suggestions I would make for your LinkedIn profile are to use more adjectives/keywords and to just hype yourself up because you want to brag about yourself but not too much to catch the eye of an employer. Including more details on your profile is key to finding that one career in

Hi Stacy,
I also love kayaking! I went up to the boundary waters in the Canadian wilderness recently and got some gorgeous shots, but I was hoping to see a moose (I've never seen one). Your career choice is admirable and showcases who you are. Your LinkedIn header is good, but
it could be worded better to showcase your amazing abilities and experience with life. It's good to show employers your talents and hobbies as well as your professional side so they can better
see what kind of skills you have. An example could be, "Experienced and Passionate Paramedic Seeking EMS Director Position: Committed to Medical Services Leadership, Thrives in Challenging Situations, Nature Enthusiast", or something of the sort. I hope you achieve your goals!

Hello,
I'm Byron, and I'm currently enrolled in the general education program here at Ivy Tech. I'm getting an associate degree in general education and also a certificate in business administration. I plan to transfer over to a four-year school to study tourism and hospitality. A little bit about myself is that I am from Marietta Georgia, and I moved here to Indiana when I was
8 years old. I am passionate about volleyball, helping others, and being around my family and friends. Currently, I individually help people market things online as a little side business I reach out to family and friends who want to sell anything, and I market it for them to get a cut. Some things I have marketed include cars, shoes, technology, and vintage clothing. I used to resell a lot but not so much now more marketing. Some more cool things I want to do in the future could include starting my own real estate business, an online store, and owning multiple properties to hopefully be financially free with investments made early on. Silver Line real estate company also reached out to me so hopefully they can help me pursue the real estate field. Some of the

things that motivate me include my family, my ambition to be better every day, and my number one supporter my mom. My LinkedIn header would be as follows: Motivated, hungry, and passionate business student experienced in the customer service/culinary field. Skills include but are not limited to multitasking, finding solutions, and managing a team whilst ensuring customer satisfaction. Five years of sales and marketing experience. 3 years of e-commerce experience and have made multiple connections with businesses. I will be writing to managers in the business/ tourism and hospitality field looking for a driven individual. I would want companies in these selected fields to read and "approve my LinkedIn profile. The content and information they will most likely be looking for are education and experience. The target audience might expect to see some achievements and or experience in the profile header. I want the people reading my profile header to know the type of person I am not just as another prospect but to stand out from the crowd.
