Briefly explain the obligations of managers and business owners in regard to work health and safety.
The obligations of managers (an officer)
There are things you have to do to comply with health and safety laws such as having:

a first aid plan
2.
an emergency plan
3.
display the "If you get injured at work" poster
4.
provided training and instruction
5.
an injury register
6.
a workers compensation policy
7.
a return to work plan.

Outline at least two (2) Work Health and Safety (WHS) responsibilities of workers whilst at work.
You must follow any reasonable health and safety instructions from your employer. It is important that you:

Identify and document the title and date of the WHS Act and Regulation for the state in which you are located.
The formal harmonisation process started with the establishment of the Intergovernmental agreement for regulatory and operational reform in occupational health and safety in July 2008, but The principal WHS law in New South Wales consists of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011, supported by the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2017. This legislation is based on the national model WHS legislation developed by Safe Work Australia in consultation with the states and territories. It applies in all NSW workplaces, including mines.

Discuss the purpose of a code of practice.
While they are not themselves standards, codes of practice are often issued to help employers and professionals understand how to compy with laws and regulations. In other words, they ensure compliance when standards are unclear, outdated, or ambiguous
b.
Give an example of a code of practice, including its title and key purpose.
All employees will follow safe practices and safety rules, contribute to safe work practices, and report safety violations and unsafe work conditions. Supervisors will monitor adherence to all safety rules and ensure compliance without exception.
5.
The Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011 state how to manage risks to health and safety with regard to hazardous manual tasks. List two (2) issues that should be addressed when determining control measures in the workplace.
