Make a model circle with my hand to demonstrate a circle has no sides.

Have the students sit in circle
Place a blue square a yellow circle red rectangle orange triangle in the circle.
Have students describe the shapes being shown and have them guess the shapes.
Proceed with the following examples, something yellow with no sides etc..
Ask your students to think about the yellow circle is different from the red rectangle.

Gather the students so they can watch the shape video

Tell the students that we will be learning about shapes and how

Display a variety of real life shapes to show the different shapes.
Name the shapes and have the students repeat them back

Explain to the students that I will describe the shapes and they
are to point the shapes out
