After reviewing the Myhers case, do you agree or disagree with the decisions and why?

I don’t agree with the court’s decision in this case because the President doesn’t have the power to
remove company officials without the approval of the senate other directors or removed by board
action only. Thor Myhers wrongfully removed Eric Myhers as the Vice President of his company.
The court ruling was reversed because Thor Myher fired Eric Myher while he claims he was fired
as an employee and not the Vice President. Eric Myher ended up getting reimbursed from his
loses of being fired. Furthermore, seeing this was again a family issue that was brought into the
work business shows. You should never bring your personal life issues to work. The growth of
your company should be your focus and sticking together as a family is imperative. One day you
will eventually want to keep your company within the family where you pass it on to your
children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
