pay the medical bills from the traffic accident? Are both drivers denying fault for the collision? Do
you need help taking steps to recover compensation for your damages? Is the adjuster for the driver's
insurance company telling you that you are partially to blame for your injuries; therefore, you
cannot file an accident claim? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, you need to consult
with a California car accident injury lawyer immediately. Gordon R. Levinson of The Levinson Law

In Pobor v. Western Pacific Railroad Co., the court ruled that a passenger must "exercise ordinary
care for his own safety." In other words, you should always wear your seat belt and never ride with a
person you know to be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. To do so could negatively
impact your injury claim by lowering the amount you are entitled to receive for your damages. Even
if you believe you may be partially to blame for your injuries, you should always consult with a
Carlsbad car accident injury lawyer. You could still be entitled to partial compensation from the

There are five steps that you should do if you are involved in a crash. The First step you should do is
Stop immediately. If you do not stop you may be penalized severely for not staying at the scene of
the crash. You could even get your driver license suspended or revoked for up to one year. If it is
very bad you can get sentenced up to one year. The fine is $2,500. The second thing you should do
is find a render aid. Try to find someone that is trained in first aid. If you see someone that is into
bad of shape to move them then leave them there until help arrives. You are required to render to
any person injured in the crash reasonable assistance including transport. The third step for if you're

If moving your car just isn't possible, flip on your hazards to warn other drivers that your vehicle
isn't going anywhere anytime soon." Also in this informational article it states that you should
document the scene, "If you have a smartphone with a camera, snap some photos of the accident
scene. They'll come in handy during the claim process." On a different article it states you need to
keep calm, " If the accident wasn't your fault, you might feel the urge to get angry and yell at the
other driver. This won't go well. First, blaming the other person might make it harder to deal with
them, and you still need to get their information. Second, getting angry will give you tunnel vision
and make it harder to think at a time when you need to be as aware as possible." Also in the article it
states that you should probably go to the doctor,"even if you feel okay after the accident, you should
take the risk of injury seriously. You might be fine, but there are a number of injuries commonly
associated with car accidents that don't show symptoms immediately. Your adrenaline can easily
hide the fact that you are hurt, so be sure to keep an eye out for any pain or stiffness as time passes."

Physics of a Car Essay
Physics of a Car
The average driver doesn't think about what keeps their car moving or what keeps them on the road,
but that's because they don't have to. The average driver doesn't have to worry about having enough
downforce to keep them on the road or if they will reach the adhesive limit of their car's tires around
a turn. These are the things are the car designers, professional drivers, racing pit crews, serious
sports car owners, and physicist think about. Physics are an important part of every sports and racing
car design. The stylish curves and ground effects on sports cars are usually there not just for form
but function as well allowing you to go speeds over 140 mph in most serious sports cars and remain
on the road and in

Negative lift is created by front and rear wings on race cars and by ground effects and spoilers on
the average sports car. Most negative lift is used to fight inertia as a car rounds a turn. Inertia is the
tendency of an object to remain in the same state of motion (Murphy 77). When a car rounds a turn
at high speeds it often needs more force than it's weight to resist the car's tendency to keep traveling
straight. The increased downforce puts more weight on the tires helping the tires grip the road. Drag
force is the cost of increasing downforce. Drag force is the force acting on an object in motion in the
opposite direction the object is moving through a fluid (Yager). To most people drag force is simply
known as air resistance. The objective of aerodynamic efficiency is to maximize downforce while
minimizing drag force.
Acceleration and Speed are obviously the two defining characteristics of a fast car. Newton's three
laws of motion are an essential part in determining how fast a car will accelerate and how fast it will
go. Newton's second law is the easiest to understand in relation to a car's acceleration. Newton's
second law mathematically states Force=(mass)(acceleration) (Murphy 78). This law explains why
cars that need to accelerate fast should be relatively light in weight compared to other cars.
Removing mass, such as a bumper, radio or fancy upholstery reduces the weight of

Narrative Essay On A Car Accident
Life is unpredictable and an accident can happen anytime. on our way back home from church my
dad was driving a black 2012 Toyota Highlander, which is a family car that seven people can ride in
it. My younger brother, Taw Nay Gay, and I were sitting on the seat behind the driver seat by the
door. My other two younger brothers, Gay Nay Soe and Soe K Maw, sat in the seat behind me, and
my mom sat in the front passenger seat. For the first time a nineteen year old girl like me started to
believe that I had a reason to live and my life could be taken away anytime. This happened on
October first 2017, 7:30 pm when we got into a car accident by the traffic lights intersection. Three
cars were damaged, but everyone in the cars were fine.

My Dad said, "I am okay". Another American man came and asked, " is everyone in the car okays?
Me and my family was fine. It just that our car got damaged in the front but we can still drive."
Asian man said, "me and my wife were fine too, but our car is not fine because we cannot move it."
I remembered my friend Tim said when he got in to car accident he and the other driver were cursed
and blamed each other about the accident. To me, I felt that they care about their car more than their
life. And they must have forgotten that their cars were not as important as their life. Therefore, they
put their cars first before them. Another accident that I remembered. Karen singer Gangyi was one
of my first male favorite singer. I started to noticed his amazing voice when I listened to one of the
song that he covers. The song called "The Prayer"; he sang this song with his sister May. Sadly, not
long after I heard his song; I heard he passed away during car accident. "This guy passed away
during the car accident not long ago. I saw some of my Facebook friends post about his death and
his family must be really sad for loosed his precious son," my dad said. "Why must he leave the
world so early at his young age? He had not sung more than ten songs yet. He just started to sing
few song and he passed away after that?" I reply to my dad. The

Cause And Effect Of A Car Crash
People never know when life can come crashing to an end. My boyfriend, friend and I were in a car
accident that happened while we brought her home from a rival high school football game. Many
factors went into the cause of the wreck, but there are several more effects of this event that need to
be discussed. A car crash can affect your life in a variety of ways. To begin with, there are some
obvious negative ways that an accident can impact your life. One of those things is a totaled car.
When the wreck occurred, we drifted off the road and into a ditch. Consequently, we hit a tree that
destroyed the vehicle
. The front left side of the Catillac was gone and the left front tire was bent into
the car. On my side, the mirror on the outside of the car was taken off and the door was bent in
enough to where it would not open. Due to this event my boyfriend's family is now out a vehicle.
Secondly, injuries is another issue. The only injuries that we received was sore muscles from jerking
forward due to impact with the tree. Although this could have been something major. If the car had
flipped, then this crash could have been fatal. Thankfully everyone was okay. Moreover, there was
also trama from the wreck. Emotionally, I was messed up for a couple of days after it. I could still
see and feel the crash happening. It almost felt like a dream afterwards even though I knew it really
did happen. I was wondering why the wreck happened the way that it did. I was also wondering if
anything different happened then would have the outcome remained the same. The last negative
effect of this is how much each of our parents trust us now. With my boyfriend's parents, they
actually were not too upset about the totaled vehicle. They were just glad that all of us were not
harmed severely. When I finally got home that night I got yelled at, but it was expected. My dad was
just scared about what had happened and he took it out on me. As for the trust, my parents were fine
with me. As for them trusting my boyfriend's driving again, well.. he might have a little ways to go
before the just level gets up to the same mark it was before. Even though there are many negatives
to this car crash happening, there are still positive effects

Car Crash Narrative
Some cars slowed down and pointed their headlights in our direction. They probably saw our
vehicle's tracks in the smashed snow. One family stopped and rolled down their window. "Is anyone
there?" they asked. "Yes!" Grace shouted. "Do you need help?" "We have help on the way. Thank
you!" They returned to their car and drove off. Another set of headlights appeared in the North. The
car slowed down and Uncle Joe came running towards the wrecked vehicle. Hope and I tried to open
our doors, but the smashed doors could not open. Haley and Grace got out of the vehicle on the left
side and Hope and I struggled to crawl from the right side to get out due to the mess within the
vehicle created throughout the crash. Joe hugged us, showing his happiness regarding our survival.
We stomped through the deep snow in the direction of his small white car, leaving the dented blue
Ford expedition and most of our belongings behind. Joe and Grace discussed the accident: what
activities to participate in about the damaged vehicle, whether or not to take Hope to the hospital,
and when to notify family members and others important

Coming out of such a disastrous accident with only minor scratches made me realize to appreciate
life. I felt a calming within me as I thought about my grandfather and the other loved ones we have
lost watching over us during the accident. I strongly believed in guardian angels after the incident.
Ever since the accident, I still find riding with others in the winter difficult and fear an accident
might occur again. I beg my parents and friends to drive cautiously on snow. Some uncertainty
remains, but the courage I presented during the accident proved to me I possess brave
characteristics. I realized the little issues happening in my life no longer mattered, because every
day is another day I get to live and thrive. Like an unknown author stated, "Be thankful for another

If you are involved in a crash, there are many laws that you must follow. There are five steps
required by law if involved in a car crash. It is important to always remember and follow these laws
if you are in crash. The laws you must follow is stopping immediately, rendering aid, traffic
clearance, contacting the police
, and exchanging information. Each of these laws will be restated
and explained below. The first rule that you must follow is that you have to stop immediately. If you
do not stay at the scene of where the crash happened you can be penalized severely. You can
"receive a jail sentence of up to one year, a fine of up to $2,500 or both." Another punishment for

So, as said earlier the third law you must follow is traffic clearance. The fourth rule is that you have
to contact the police. This rule applies to all types of crashes, whether they had to do with injuries,
death, property damage, and if another driver was involved or not. Insurance information may be
requested to the Financial Responsibility Section, Driver License Division. So, as said earlier the
fourth law you must follow is to contact the police. The fifth law that you must follow is exchanging
information. Information that need to be exchanged between drivers or people involved in the crash
is your name, address, vehicle registration number, insurance information, which includes agent,
provider's name, and phone number. So, as said earlier the fifth law you must follow is to exchange
information. In conclusion, immediately move your car out of the way of traffic to prevent another
vehicle or vehicles from crashing. Render aid if necessary, which includes transportation. Follow
traffic clearance, make sure you are out of the way of traffic, if necessary go to the nearest location
that will not stop traffic. Contact the police, all crashes require a phone call to the

Multi Car Crash Essay
Multi–Vehicle Car Crash in Elk Grove Results in One Fatality According to The Sacramento Bee, a
multi–vehicle car crash in Elk Grove claimed the life of one man and injured several others. The
collision happened on Friday afternoon about 5:15 p.m. near the intersection of Laguna Boulevard
and Laguna Oaks Drive. Eyewitnesses reported that a speeding SUV rear–ended a Toyota Prius that
was stopped in rush hour traffic. The Prius driver was killed in the collision. The collision began a
chain reaction that involved five other vehicles. Two other people were injured in the multi–vehicle
car crash. Proving Fault in a Multi–Vehicle Car Crash To receive compensation for injuries
sustained in a car accident, you must prove that the other driver is at fault. In most collisions, it is

Evaluation. California's Comparative Negligence Standard With California's pure comparative
negligence standard, a driver may still recover damages even if the driver is partially at fault for the
collision. In other words, if you are 20% at fault for the multi–vehicle car crash, you can still receive
compensation for 80% of your damages. In a two–vehicle car accident, the math is simple. If your
damages are $100,000, you would receive $80,000 in compensation ($100,000 less 20 percent). A
multi–vehicle car crash complicates this simple math. Several drivers may be partially to blame for
the collision. Sorting out who did what and assigning percentages of fault can be a complex
undertaking. It is crucial that you are not held liable for a higher percentage of fault than is actually
the case because your settlement will be reduced by this percentage. This is why you need an

Car Crash Project
In this Car Crash Project, we had to make sure we used Newton's 3 laws. Let me explain you how I
used the 3 laws in my project. For my project, I had three main important parts in my car. One of
them was the crumple zone because the car is in motion until it hits the yellow which is the outside
force. In Newton's First Law he states that every object stays in motion unless acted upon an outside
force
. Here the object in motion is the car, and the outside force is the yellow stump. Another main
component was the seat belt. The seat belt fell in Newton's Second Law. In that law, it explains how
force equals mass x acceleration. So, When the egg is wearing the seatbelt it will stop the egg from
accelerating or being in motion. If it was accelerating

we would sell apple on the road for 10 cents an apple. After I invited billy we picked apples from

we needed, we put them in a bag and drove the apples over to the apple stun me and Billy made with
some cardboard and wood. Then we put the apples in a bucket. Then we waited for our first

Causes of car accidents Car accidents can happen to drivers anytime, anywhere. "According to the

When a cell phone is used while driving, it distracts the attention of the driver, leading to car
accidents. While using a cell phone many people tend to miss traffic signals, because they are not
really concentrating on driving. The process of dialing or answering the phone can make them lose
control of the vehicle as well. Even though the driver is looking at the road, he or she can easily get
distracted by the conversation. This can result in fatal accidents. Third reason of accidents on the
road is teenage drivers. "2,739 teenagers died in car accidents in the United States during 2008 ",
(drivesteady.com). Some teenagers cause fatal accidents, because of immaturity and lack of
experience. Teenagers are very impulsive. Although not intending to hurt anyone, they sometimes
drive very aggressively. It is not difficult to find teenagers driving with one hand on the steering
wheel, seat pushed back, and with loud music playing. In traffic they go wild, trying to seek
attention. They underestimate the risk of what they are doing. All these acts result in serious
consequences on the road. Many accidents of young drivers result from their own mistakes. In
conclusion, many people do not realize that being intoxicated while driving, using cellular phones
and teenage drivers may bring serious injuries to everybody. Some people may enjoy drinking
without care until they get into car accident, which can even result in

The Crash Of A Car Accident Essay
The Crash Getting in a car accident is an unnerving thing. You never know what can happen and if
your lucky you might see it coming. Well as often as these accidents occur, it happened to Spencer
and I on one fateful summer evening. We had just left his Dads house after driving there to look for
his dad. We decided to take his truck instead of the BMW. It was horribly hot and humid. The
humidity was almost palpable. It was as if you were wading through a hot, steaming bowl of soup.
He had just turned 16 and was obviously inexperienced. We didn't care though. We drove with the
windows down jamming out to music. It didn't matter how hot it was we were just enjoying our days
of summer. Little did we know, we wouldn't be relishing in this hot summer day much longer. We
had just passed NAPA, the auto supply store, heading south for his mothers house. She lived down
one block and two to the left. At the stop sign we stopped for a moment, changing the song to bruno
mars's "When I Was Your Man". I leaned out the window, crooning out the lyrics. He accelerated
and started to cross the highway. CRASH
! It was as if a freight train had hit head on with me, the
noise was deafening. Suddenly there were white airbags that had erupted all around me and I was
slammed into the side of the truck. We had just been t–boned by an oncoming Toyota pick–up truck.
I was faintly aware that our truck was still inching forward until it came to a stop. I looked around.
We were next to the library.

Paper Car Crash Experiment
The paper car crash experiment had only two rules: you must create a car using only two sheets of
paper and unlimited amounts of hot glue, and the car must be heavier than 40grams, no longer than
16.5cm and no wider than 6.5cm. What decided the winner is the overall momentum of your car,
which depended on how fast your car run as well as how heavy it is. The challenge for me was
hitting the weight limit as well trying to fix the rear axle. I realized that I had glued it too close to
the front axle. When I placed the egg in the car, the front of the car would rise up and my car
wouldn't roll. Momentum is mass and velocity multiplied together. More so, it's "the difficultly of
stopping a moving object" (Jones, 2013). One thing that acts upon

Essay about The Physics of Car Collisions
Basic Concepts
Issac Newton was the first to state the concepts that are necessary to understanding the physics of
collisions. His three laws are used again and again in all the fields of physics:
Newton's 1st Law
In the absence of external forces, an object at rest remains at rest and an object in motion remains in
motion with a constant velocity.
This law can be best observed in space, far from the gravity of a star or planet, where there is no
friction or air resistance. If, in the middle of deep space, you give a rock a little push, it will continue
with the direction and velocity you gave it forever. The only way to stop it is to apply a force in the
opposite direction. This law is not intuitive because we are surrounded
...show more content...
Every single action has an equal and opposite reaction. If you were standing in the middle of a
perfectly slick frozen lake, and needed to get off, you could throw an object away from you. When
you applied force to the object you threw, it also applied an equal force pushing you back. You
would travel in the opposite direction from the throw, although slower, because you probably have
mass more than the object you threw.
Static and Kinetic Friction
Friction is a key concept when you are attempting to understand car accidents. The force of friction
is a force that resists motion when two objects are in contact. If you look at the surfaces of all
objects, there are tiny bumps and ridges. Those microscopic peaks and valleys catch on one another
when two objects are moving past each other.
This explanation is a little simplified. There are other processes at work, including chemical bonding
and electrical interactions.
The level of friction that different materials exhibit is measured by the coefficient of friction. The
formula is µ = f / N, where µ is the coefficient of friction, f is the amount of force that resists
motion, and N is the normal force. Normal force is the force at which one surface is being pushed
into another. If a rock that weighs 50 newtons is lying on the ground, then the normal force is that 50

Description Of A Car Accident Essay
Essay 1: Car Accident The clock read 4:38 pm and we knew we had to be home by 5:00 pm. Ifraz
and I sat patiently in the car waiting for Nida and my sister. As soon as they arrived, we quickly left
on our excursion back home. The sun began to set through the cracks in the clouds and darkness was
creeping in. The day consisted of a few sprinkles here and there which was just enough to moisten
the roads. On the journey home, I was in the driver 's seat while Ifraz was beside me and my sister
and Nida were in the back. We all got lost into our conversations and had a great time telling jokes
to one another. I kept my eye on a dark blue car right in front of us which seemed to be in a rush.
Just as I took my eyes off the car and looked at Ifraz to speak to him, the car in front of us swerved
into the right lane. As I looked back onto the road, I searched for the dark blue car, but it was
already ahead of two cars in the right lane. My vision turned back to the road in front of me. Just as I
did so, my stomach clenched and I held in my breath as I saw a stopped vehicle waiting to turn left
about 30 feet in front of me. Thoughts began flooding into my mind on how to maneuver around
this vehicle. As I looked to my right for an escape route, another car was right beside me, blocking
the getaway. I abruptly pressed on the brakes and all I heard were the tires screeching, trying to
grasp onto the slippery road to stop themselves. Time seemed to slow down a great deal while we
tried

Car Crash Fatalities
Your best bet for staying safe on the roads today is to be constantly aware of your surroundings and
other vehicles, pedestrians, and bikes. Sometimes even the greatest vigilance on our part is not
enough though, leaving many in the US–and Florida–the unexpected victims of car crashes. And no
matter the extent of your injuries, being involved in any type of car accident can be highly
traumatic. Car Crash Fatalities & Injuries Have Continued to Increase Hazards on the road today
may include everything from poor weather to drivers under the influence, novices behind the wheel,
those who are tired, speeding, failing to signal, and generally negligent. And even though more and
more attention is being given in the media to what we need to do to stay safe on the roads, the
numbers of crashes have been escalating, resulting

Serious Injuries Require a Personal Injury Attorney If you have sustained a serious injury in a car
accident, this could be a trauma that affects you for a long time, or permanently. Because of that, it
is imperative to recover all compensation that is due to you from your insurer. You may be quite
vulnerable after a car crash, especially if you are in pain from your injury. An experienced personal
injury attorney can guide you in understanding the laws regarding how quickly you must attain
medical treatment and what you should expect from your insurance company. Unfortunately, if you
are trying to handle a claim on your own, you may be dealing with delays, a multitude of questions
and ongoing complicated correspondence, and the resulting, deep disappointment of being offered a
paltry amount for compensation. Experience Means

Narrative Essay On Car Accidents
I used to read about people getting in car accidents. Finally one happen to me, that was when I
realized anything can happen at any moment.
It was Monday, June 6th, 2016. The sun was shining and it was nice weather for an adventure. It was
the first summer that any of my friends had their licences, so adventures were always happening.
Kayla, Emily and I were on our way to Wildwood park, in her old blue car listening to music, using
the GPS, and driving. Kayla was driving, Emily in the front seat, and I in the back. We were on
Highway 14 going towards Mankato. Kayla looks down at the GPS for a second, I start yelling "shit,

. After
all this happen we end up in the ditch on the other side of the road. We all sat in silence for like a
minute, then Kayla started to freak out a little. Emily and I working on calming her down. A
construction worker came up to our car and asks us if we are alright and told us, "Make sure you can
move your arms and legs, sometimes things happen and you won't even know." We moved and we
were all alright. First thing Kayla did was call her grandpa because he owned Kayla's car, he told us
he was on his way. I texted my mom and she was not answering so I had to text my sister and she
told my mom. And Emily text her mom as well. We did not want to call the cops because we didn't
even know what to say or what to do, but the lady in the truck did not want to

Car Accidents Essay
Car accidents are a leading cause of both morbidity and disability. A car accident is said to have
occurred when a motor vehicle collides with another motor vehicle, a pedestrian, an animal, a
structure, a building or road equipment.
Despite strict laws that govern speeding, drunk driving, distracted driving and overall driver
negligence, car accidents continue to increase. New data from the National Safety Council shows
that car accident fatalities have increased by a third from 2014 to 2016 in Georgia. This is the fifth
highest increase in the country overall and is more than twice the national average. Motor vehicle
fatalities have increased by 14% nationwide from 2014 to 2016. In fact, 2016 has been the deadliest
year for the US since

Often these damages can be quite significant. Many times, the amount can easily surpass the
average annual income of most people. That is why all drivers on the road are required to carry
liability insurance.
Your response in the event of a car accident is dependent on the level of damage. If it is a minor
accident, drivers can often get away with a simple citation. But if there are serious injuries and/or
damage, drivers can be held financially liable and can also be heavily penalized. The driver's license
can also get suspended or revoked depending on the circumstances.
If you are a victim, you should know that you are entitled to compensation. If it is an open and shut
case and if the other driver is clearly responsible for the accident, your personal injury claim will be
quite simple and should not take long to be approved. However, most of the time things are not so
simple. Even if the at–fault driver has insurance coverage (which is required by law), that driver's
insurance company may still try to challenge your claim in order to reduce their payout. This is very
common and dealing with insurance companies is a major problem that most plaintiffs have to bear.
In any case, the law allows you to file for damages no matter what the other party says or does. You
can initiate a formal process through the civil court where you can seek compensation from the party
who is at fault. When you file such a lawsuit,
