The chain of custody is one if not the most crucial process of the evidence documentation. It is mainly to
ensure to the court of law that the evidence is authentic. Meaning, the the evidence is the same that is ceased at the crime scene. At all times the custody of a person that is designated to hadle it for which has never been accounted for. As we know the process can be very lengthy it is required that the evidence is relevant to the court.
