Runner Head: Research Proposal 2 How does cybercrime impact the national security of the United States? The main reason for this research is to analyze the impact that cybercrime has on the national security of the United States. The aim is to find a better understanding of the vulnerabilities faced by important government and private infrastructures. Different aspects of cyber threats, such as origins, methods, and possible consequences, will be investigated. Additionally, the goal is to identify strategies and methods to mitigate and reduce the risk.
