Discussion of Earned Value Analysis and Projections Due to the project containing five separate teams, each team’s numbers were run individually, and then totals were provided to view the project as a whole. The Testing team is ahead of schedule and the Migration team is awaiting the completion of the Off-site team’s completion and one of the Testing team’s tasks to be completed to begin work. Specific team updates are provided below. Premigration - Eva Miller’s team has exceeded their allotted budget, as evidenced by their CPI of 0.98. The team has used a total of $12,525 from their allotted budget and is projected to need an additional $12,067.58 before the completion of the project. The team is projected to complete their tasks on September 5, 2023, but in order to successfully do so they will need an additional $24,592.58. Storage - Omar Patel’s team, is currently also exceeding their allotted budget. The team has used a total of $7,425 and is projected to incur an additional cost of $5,407.70 before the completion of the project. The team is projected to complete their tasks on September 4 and will need an additional $12,832.70. Off-site Cloud System - Sara Phan’s team has been successful in staying within their budget. The team has spent $2,925 so far and is projected to spend an additional $33,097.17. The team is on track to complete all tasks on November 15, 2023 and will require an additional $36,022.17. Testing - Ren Sousa’s team is performing just slightly over budget. They have spent #3,900.00 and will spend another $41,501.63 by the completion of the project. The team is currently working three days ahead of schedule and is projected to complete all tasks by November 17. Migration - Ahmed Williams’ team has not started their tasks yet, due to tasks assigned to other teams needing to be completed first. Discussion of Burndown Chart According to the burndown chart, the project remains encumbered with numerous outstanding tasks, surpassing those already completed. Notably, on day 18, our progress exceeded initial projections, evidenced by the completed tasks falling below the expected trajectory outlined by the orange line. E. Mitigation Plan The project is currently ahead of schedule and under budget, as seen in the Earned Value Analysis and the project Burndown Chart.
