USER REQUIREMENTS AND BUSINESS FUNCTIONALITY Customer is looking for an easy to use and convenient site. Currently the site is taking too long to notify the customer if an item they are looking for is out of stock and driving away potential business. Customer requires clear information before purchasing anything
The business is trying to give customers what they are looking for in a quick and convenient manner, however they are falling behind in terms of keeping up with inventory. Using an out-of-date method and only have an up to date list every 3 days. This puts stress on the employee servicing the order and potentially losing a customer after hours of the item being ordered.

RECOMMENDATIONS
Moving forward I recommend a system that will update inventory as sales happen. That way the employees have an accurate count of stock throughout the week. At the end of the week orders can be placed to accurately restock any items needed.
The website would tie into this making sure to display and accurate status of the item and an accurate time that the item will be restocked if in is out of stock at the time of the order.
That way when the customer places an order they are confident it will arrive after the order is placed
If the item is out of stock, they will have the information of when it will be restocked and then can decide if they want to wait for the restock or shop else where. This helps keep there attention though.

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES
With the proposed recommendations I can only see major advantages.
A faster and more accurate inventory/website means the company makes more money.
A faster and more accurate inventory/website means customers order from the company more often and keep coming back because they are satisfied
The up-front costs of developing this system would not be very large since we can do this through Microsoft Azure or AWS. That way we do not need to invest in the hardware to run this system.
The system would be run by a third party so that comes with the risk of them taking the system down in case of maintenance or upgrades.
