Indoor garden will help to reduce CO2 within the building and improve air quality in the building. 2 Approach Tina Huges, the project manager will prepare the documentation to build the indoor sustainable garden wall in the foyer of the CBSA building with the help of Lucas Smith who is assisting in project management activities and present it to Gavin Stead for the approval. Upon the approval local contractor will be hired to design, construct and install the indoor sustainable garden wall. After the installation contractor will train the staff to maintain and care of the garden wall. Keep area clean and safe all the times. 3 Roles and Responsibilities Name Role Responsibility Gavin Stead Managing director/ project sponsor Responsible for the overall project. Train staff to maintain the garden wall and keep the area safe and clean. 4 Scope Management Process 4.1 Scope statement CBSA will build the indoor sustainable garden wall in the foyer to reduce CO2 within the building and improve air quality in the building and create sustainable and eco-friendly workplace for staff and customers. It will include designing, constructing and installing the garden wall and training the staff to maintain and care for the garden wall after completion. Deliverables Indoor sustainable garden wall in the foyer of the CBSA building. staff trained in looking after the wall. Add CBSA logo to the Garden wall and also keep colours as well Project should be completed in four weeks with in approved budget of $20,000. Wall will be installed only after the CBSA will approve the design and plant selection. Builder will need to clean after installing the wall and also responsible for person who will be training CBSA staff in maintenance is qualified to give the advice. Project excludes the watering system for the garden wall but instead train the staff to maintain and care the garden wall. Assumptions No delay due to weather or any other circumstances. Water source is close to the foyer for irrigation of the plants. © Eduworks

Project Manager would keep upper-level executives in the company up to date on the status of the project and the progress of the various project resources. As the design construction is approved by the project manger and other stakeholders before the wall is constructed. Formal inspection will be done before the acceptance of the project for the quality of the work done. 4.4 Program Scope Requirement Traceability Matrix The requirement traceability matrix is used to track of the progress of the project and used to make sure the scope and the deliverables are in line with the original scope. It is also used to manage the change through out the project life cycle. 5 Making decisions Purpose of the decision-making log is to create document for all the decision made during the course of the project. There will be information available for the people or team members not present at the time. it will easy access to the specific decision made in the past and information about the decisions. 6 Control of Scope Project scope is controlled by discussing the progress of the project in the weekly meetings with builder to review, approve and analyse any change needed. If there is any change in the project a formal change request form will be completed and submitted to the project manager. Change request will be reviewed and then it will be sent for the approval. All the change request will be logged in the change request log. Project manager will in turn then estimate the impact of change on cost, time and scope of the project and submit it to the sponsor and other stakeholders for the approval. On approval or rejection, the project manager will update documentation and communicate the changes to the team and all the stakeholders. 7 Scope Verification Scope verification is done on the bases of the documentation and feedback by the stakeholders in the weekly meetings. As all the change request and changes to the project will be documented. If there is any change in the project a formal change request form will be completed and submitted to the project manager. Change request will be reviewed and then it will be sent for the approval. All the change request will be logged in the change request log. Project manager will in turn then estimate the impact of change on cost, time and scope of the project and submit it to the sponsor and other stakeholders for the approval. On approval or rejection, the project manager will update documentation and communicate the changes to the team and all the stakeholders. All the deliverables will be inspected and accepted according to the quality checklist and work performance measurements.
