When implementing action research, discuss specific steps that should be taken to ensure the validity and reliability of the data that are being collected. Provide specific examples to support
your ideas. In response to peers, provide feedback on the steps taken to ensure validity and reliability of the data.
Action research is evaluation, investigations, and analytics research methods to identify organizational, academic, and instructional problems or weaknesses.
We would automatically think about education when involving action research. For example, I have a 13-year-old daughter who is being tested right now for TAG (talented and gifted), however I am not sure specifically what they are testing her for, meaning a school subject, band, cheer, or dance. In this case she is really being tested to her where she is really talented and gifted, however it can also show where her weaknesses are between school subjects or talents. This school year she tried out for middle school cheer and dance team. She prefers dancing; however, she was picked for the cheer team. This may mean that she is more effective in cheer than dance, this test may also identify that as well.
