In this case, Java needed to expand this to meet the customer demands that are continuously rising. Change is also necessary to ensure an organization's survival. In this case, for Java to survive, it must expand. Due to it lacking the land required for this, venturing into telecommunication is convenient. It will allow the organization to access its market and even more customers in the internet world. This shows that an organization needs to change first to keep up with the continuously changing market, serve the growing market, and keep up with the trends. 2 An organization can have both good and bad desires that result in them changing. In this case, Java has a good desire to change; this increases its market reach and provides more products and services to more consumers. However, the evil desire to change comes about due to the elimination of the direct sales force and venturing into telecommunication. Elimination of the direct sales force will reduce the operational cost for the organization, but it will also lead to unemployment of the direct sales team. The small accounts in which the direct sales team will also suffer make this a bad desire to change. 3 The skills required for the organization to change include technical skills that will allow employees to know how to operate the organization using the telecommunication aspect. The organization should also have problem-solving skills that will allow them to solve any problem that may occur during the implementation of the projects. Thirdly the organization should also have risk analysis skills that will allow it to analyze the possible skills that may result from implementing the project. Most of their work will be online compared to initially, where most of their operations were mainly physical. Generally, I can say that this project has brought more good than harm to the organization. 8 The organization can hand the employees questionnaires; this is to measure the effectiveness of this project to the organization. Through questionnaires, the organization will know what changes must be made to the project to ensure it functions effectively. The organization can also carry out analysis and evaluation on the project to measure whether the project is on the right track to achieving organizational goals. By doing this, the organization will be able to identify both the strengths and weaknesses of the project. The organization will also be able to identify whether the project is on the right path or not. If the project isn't on the right path, the organization, through its weakness, will be able to identify what is required to be done on the project to keep it in line.
