I think it is important because it cleans up redundant data sets and it’ll reduce the chances of confusion from roll over data like multiple people having the same first or last name. AQ2. How does transforming the data to a common data model help make analysis easier in the future? Transforming the data into a common data model makes analysis easier in the future by allowing the data to be applied to another data set with same or similar structure, without having to rebuild it every time. It basically just shortens the effort and time in conducting data analyses. AQ3. Look at the fields that you removed in the data transformation. What types of analysis can you no longer perform with those missing data?

When we removed the year and month in the data transformation, we keep ourselves from being able to perform analysis concerning the time of year transactions are being made. Thus, we will have to reconstruct using the transaction date for the reporting period.
