a) Using the information provided in the table above, draw the AOA network diagram representing the project. Put the node numbers in the circle and draw arrows from node to node, labelling each arrow with the activity letter and estimated time. b) Identify all the paths on the network diagram. Calculate the estimated duration of each path. c) What is the critical path for this project and how long is it? d) What is the shortest possible time it will take the project to complete? Question 2. Using the Network Diagram (from above), fill in the table for each activity. (8 marks) Use the following Table format to summarize your answers. You will need to exoand the table to list all activities. Please use the same order as above: A, B, C, etc. for the rows. NOTE, this table will be on your summary page. However, you must provide all the relevant information for your network diagram in the appendix. You must show each of the values for each activity in on the network diagram. Activity Early Start (ES) Early Finish (EF) Late Start (LS) Late Finish (LF) Free Float (FF) Total Float (TF) A B etc. Question 3. Using the information for the small project in the first table above, create the project within MS Project. Once you have created the original project, make the following changes, and answer the applicable questions. ALL these scenarios are to be modeled in MS Project with applicable screen shots for each of the scenarios (original, change a), change b), and change c)) provided in your submission (appendix) as well as the .mpp file for the initial network diagram. (12 Marks) a) The duration for activity I is extended, and the new estimate is I = 5 days . What is the impact to the critical path and/or the critical path duration (if any)? b) Revert to the initial state (original network diagram and reset I = 3 days). Now, the duration for activity D is extended, and the new estimate is D = 4 days . What is the impact to the critical path and/or the critical path duration (if any)? c) Revert to the initial state (original network diagram and reset D = 2 days). The project team had a change order that resulted in descoping of activity I from the project. What is the impact to the critical path and/or the critical path duration (if any)?
