To build the dashboard above I utilized the spreadsheet that we were given from Lending Club Statistics and opened them in Excel. Once opened I selected the data and inserted a pivot table. Once the data was in the pivot table, I explored the options available in graphs for the data. To insert the graphs, I selected the data and inserted each graph as seen above. I had to determine which data was important to share and what message I needed to convey. There was too much data at the start to present graphs that would tell a story, so it had to be sorted. I chose to look at current loans by state, charged off amounts by state, and payment plans by state. For Current loans by state and charged off amounts by state I opted to focus on a segment of the states rather than all states. The current loan by state graph is shown in a combo chart that not only shows the average current loan by state in the columns but the current average
interest rate by state in the line graph. The second graph is a pie chart that takes the same states as the original chart and shows average charge off amounts. The last chart is a 3-D Stacked Area
chart that shows the count of payment plans by state.
