Both Sources
Analyze the primary sources relevant to your historical event for the presence of bias.
The only bias I could find from my primary sources is that the Government took over 100 years
to compensate these survivors and the case was dismissed with prejudice, meaning it can’t be
refiled (Gilyard 2023) and any of the white people who participated on that riot was never
charged after destroying a city and kill more than 300 African American.
Compare how your historical event is represented in your primary sources.
Both of my primary sources tell the same story of the survival of the deadly night of the Tulsa
Massacre. Everything starts with a false accusation of a young black man who has an altercation
with a white woman inside of an elevator, also the jealousy that the white people had at that
time because the black city was prosperous and continues with a good rhythm, the testimony of
other survivors are the same and the ones that remain still remember the bloody and horrific
night of May 31, 1921.
