How did the idea of manifest destiny play a role in white American expansion?
The idea of manifest destiny played a role in white American expansion by justifying the
dispossession and harassment of native americans. Manifest destiny led to the belief that white
Americans could best use land and opportunity above other other people, essentially driving the
force of racial superiority.
Why and how did Florida become part of the US?
Florida became apart of the U.S after the American settlers became envious of the land inhabited
by Native American tribes and The main reasons of the Florida annexation were, first, anxieties
over runaway enslaved people, Spanish neglect of the reason, and the desire to defeat people of
the Native American tribes who controlled large portions of valuable farm territories. Instead of
attempting to assimilate the native americans they completely “removed” them from the land and
reduced land for freedom-seeking enslaved people.

of people for simply existing on a valuable piece of land in which they inhabited to begin with.
Americanization is a formal way of stating that those who do not match the agenda for American
politics need to either assimilate or be completely non-existent for being the way they want.
