Research Proposal
I have always wondered about modern history in the Christian Church. As a believer, we’ve always been taught the ancient history, the things that are recorded in the Bible. We even learn about the unmentioned events of ancient time, but has it ever puzzled you what happened between the years immediately following Christ to the formation of the new world in America. Eusebius is described as a well learned Christian and is credited with writing The Life of Constantine.
Through his writings I learned of how Christianity was implemented into old European lifestyle as a political leverage rather than a genuine act. My newfound knowledge of General Constantine and the records of Eusebius prompted several questions in me that I sought to answer in my research paper.
Why were Christians under persecution during this time?
Was the liberation of Christians an act to spread Christianity or done with ulterior motives?
Did General Constantine reap benefits of Christian freedom?
Was General Constantine a Christian himself
