Answer: Event 1: The birth of Jesus (4 B.C) Rationale: The birth of Jesus marks the beginning of Christianity. As such, this event has huge impacts to Christians and often they celebrate the day annually. Event 2: Death of Jesus (30 CE). Rationale: The events mark a significant transition in the lives of Christians as they get hope of eternal life through the resurrection of Christ. The event is celebrated this year as a remembrance of faith. Event 3: Persecution of Christians by Nero the Roman Emperor (64 AD). Rationale: The event shapes the history of Christianity and increases their faith. The suffering that other Christians faced is a mark that helps others follow in their footsteps. Event 4: Declaration of Christianity as the official religion in the Roman Empire by Emperor Theodosius (380 AD). Rationale: This event shows the development of Christianity as a religion and sets its roots in it. Event 5: Division of the Christian Church into the eastern (Orthodox) and western (Catholic), (1504 AD).
