Henry Ford was born in 1863 on a farm near Dearborn, Michigan. He grew up the oldest of six children. He lived in a rural enviornment, where he developed an interest in machinery and technology. Despite his passion for mechanics, Ford's early
years were defined by a lack of interest in farm work and a desire to explore other pursuits. At the age of 16, he left home to work as an apprentice machinist in Detroit. Over the years, Ford improved his skills in engineering and entrepreneurship, eventually founding the Ford Motor Company in 1903.

on quality and efficiency led to unmatched economic benefits, establishing his company as a dominant force in the automotive market and securing his position as one of the most wealthiest individuals during his time period.
