Describe a situation in which you experienced role strain. – A situation in which I experienced role strain is last semester with an Arts class. There were multiple expectations for me; norms that I half to be able to abide by. We had assignments for each chapter of the book. It quickly became hard to accomplish all that work in an efficient manner. I would classify arts as a hard class. This meant that I couldn’t manage the workload no matter how much time and effort I put in. Discuss your resolution to role strain. - My resolution to this role strain was to ask for help from other teachers I trusted. They encouraged me to keep going and ask for help from those who were in the same class. In the end, I ended up asking for help from one of my friends; turns out that she was going through the same things. We decided to slip the work. Discuss how successful or unsuccessful you feel your resolution has been to the role strain you experienced. – I felt very successful when my resolution to the role strain I experienced was resolved. I could even say that my mental health got better to a much better stable situation. I was able to complete all the work that; later I would compare my answers with my friend. Describe a situation in which you experienced role conflict. - Being able to manage being a student and a daughter is very hard. I had many responsibilities on my shoulder. I was really stressed about how I would finish all my homework assignments that their due dates were approaching soon. I had responsibilities, and chores that were required to be completed at home. As well as helping my mom and dad around the house. Discuss your resolution to role conflict. - My resolution to this role conflict was to use my agenda and talk to my parents and explain the reason that I would be delaying some of the responsibilities I have at home once again. I prioritize finishing my schoolwork as the due dates were very near. I used all my free time finishing work, as well as I would prioritize spending some time with my family for instance eating dinner with them. Discuss how successful or unsuccessful you feel your resolution has been to the role conflict you experienced. –
I would say that I felt very successful in my final solution to the role conflict I experienced. If I hadn’t done what I did I wouldn’t have probably been able to manage to complete all my work. I believe that I was able to manage to complete everything by just finding ways to make everything work.
