Access the fast food establishment’s online nutrition facts and analyze your meal for total calories, fat, saturated fat, cholesterol, sodium, total carbohydrates, fiber, and protein. Based on the %DV’s (Appendix B), how would you rate your selections? Based on the %DV's I would rate my selection as decent as there are many other food choices that could be better. What ways could you alter your fast food choices to improve energy and nutrient intakes? I could alter my food selection by instead of buying a quarter pounder everytime. I could start going with a grilled chicken sandwich with an apple instead of fries. What food selections would help to make this meal healthier? As mentioned earlier I would instead switch the meal out by getting a chicken sandwich instead of a burger, buying water bottle instead of soda and also getting an apple over fries. Using the information you gained from this analysis, describe a healthy meal plan from your favorite fast food restaurant. A healthy Meal Plan would probably be a Grilled fully loaded chicken sandwich, with water and an apple with a chicken grilled saladas another side.
