Topic Selection -Individual Assignment 1 and 2
The topic I decided on for Assignment 1 is "Comparing annual percent of Medicare enrollees having at least one ambulatory visit between Black and White Population." The yearly percentages of Black and White the Medicare system members who had a minimum of one ambulatory trip will be measured and evaluated. We are able to better understand the variations amongst those two racial groups' opportunities for ambulance service and their utilization of healthcare thanks of this review.
The topic I decided on for Assignment 2 is "Comparing the number of PET/CT procedures and MRI procedures (all states) using the MNHCCISImagingProcedures2013 dataset." I'll be comparing the overall number of MRI and PET/CT techniques performed in each state utilizing the MNHCCISImagingProcedures2013 dataset. This inquiry will bring understanding on how these imaging techniques are used and whether there are any differences across states. In order to find any discrepancies or variances in healthcare usage and access, both issues center on the analysis of healthcare data.
