UNIVERSAL TESTING CONDITIONS Conducting tests in small groups. giving individual tests to each person. Testing outside of the traditional classroom environment. Using a specified room or special furniture for testing purposes. Having the test administered by a designated test administrator. Allowing teachers to supervise students from other classes.
ACCOMMODATIONS With testing accommodations, such as alterations to the standard environment and services, people with disabilities can exhibit their actual abilities and accomplishments: - An Individualized Education Program (IEP) allows students to retake a test multiple times, either within the same school year or before they graduate. There is a variety of testing accommodations available to support students' needs during assessments. - longer testing period
PREPARING THE CLASSROOM Classroom setup for exams should eliminate potential cheating materials such as phones and notes. A visible clock should be present in the exam room to help students keep track of their time limit. no communication Desks should be spaced appropriately to prevent students from looking at each other's work during exams.
