Buildup of low pressure and thunderstorms growing with passage 2. Effects of Irma a. A severe amount of damage was done to the islands and Florida b. Severe damage to property, injuries and loss of life. c. Winds act over 100-400km (Bacopoulos (2019)) B. Implementation of recovery, mitigation, and evacuation plans. 1. Build-Back-Better III. Conclusion Section A. Hurricane Irma was a few years now, however the amount of land and devastation caused by it. Irma built up and created devastation throughout the Caribbean Islands, as it progressed it progressed between Cat3-5 Hurricane into Florida as well. The strong winds and large amount of precipitation led to much damage, leading to many evacuations and relief efforts.
