Of the specific skills listed for the career field, what 3 skills do you believe your academic courses at OU have developed the most and how have they been developed? a. Critical thinking, because the courses I have taken taught me to take a situation and the facts given to figure out solutions or a way to approach the problem. b. Speaking, because the courses I have taken has taught me how to convey information effectively. c. Active learning, because the courses I have taken taught me take new information learned and to apply it in current and future problems and decision making. 4. What is the most common education level for your selected career field? The most common education level for my selected career field is a master’s degree . 5. Will you be fulfilling the most common degree type for the career field and how so? Yes, I will be fulfilling the most common degree type for the career field by applying to PA programs and completing my education there. 6. Under the "work values" section, which value aligns most with your specific values? Under the “work values” section the value that aligns most with my specific value is relationships, because having good connections with the people I work make the job experience more enjoyable which I value. 7. What is the median wage for the selected career field? The median wage for my selected career field is $60.58 hourly and $126,010 annually. 8. When you change the median wage information to be in the state you hope to live in does the median wage increase, decrease, or stay the same and why do you think that outcome exists? When I changed the median wage information to the state, I hope to live in the median wage increased and I think this is because the state wants to increase the number of physician assistants. 9. What is the projected growth for your selected career field? The projected growth for my selected career field is much faster than the average (9% or higher).
