You will need to locate one or more scholarly articles from the Purdue Global Library that explain how financial markets operate and are essential for a healthy economy and economic growth. The article(s) should provide you with information to answer Part 2 of your assignment. You will write about the process you went through to locate your article(s), thoroughly covering the topics below. You must follow the following criteria for your research:  Explain how your search terms were refined.  Identify your choice of databases (for example: EBSCO or ProQuest ABI/Inform).  Identify the range of dates used.  Identify the experts.  Identify how you sorted the relevant topics When I perform research for any Purdue assignment, I like to be picky and get specific. I used the terms “Financial Market” and “Economic Impact” for my search terms. This allowed me to automatically narrow my search down to two specific terms I want my researched article to have. The database I use is always EBSCO. I use this database just because it is the base that is generated automatically when I enter a search. I have used ProQuest ABI/Inform before but have not found articles that pertain to my interest or needs. I always try to find articles that have been posted in at least this century. I do this because the amount of technological change that has occurred after the year 2000 is completely different, especially with the introduction of social media. The article I found was published in 2015 so it adhered to my personal prerequisites. The expert on the topic seems to be someone who is reputable because the article was an academic journal as well as peer-reviewed. They are also from the Cracow University of Economics in Poland making them seem even more of an expert on the topic at hand. As I stated before, I used specific terms to weed out all other articles that did not fit my requirements for the research topic.
