Part 2: Analysis I decided to use Blooket for my game-based assessment. Blooket is a program that allows you to create quizzes and assessments for students to participate independently or as a group. The program has game modes where the student earns coins for answering questions correctly and plays the game to move up levels with each round played. https://dashboard.blooket.com/set/644c41f3cfdcaf372e33648b ; https://play.blooket.com/play? id=4086042 . The topic is identification for kindergarten/first-grade language arts. Questions on the assessment include: 1) Count the fingers. 2) What is the first letter of the ABCs? 3) What is this? 4) Name the shape. 5) Choose the color. 6) What letter is after ”Y”? 7) What shape is this? 8) What is this? 9) How many balloons are there? 10) What color are the balls? The answers to the assessment questions are: 1) 5 2) “A” 3) Dog or Puppy 4) Square or Blocks

5) Red 6) “Z” 7) Star 8) Cat or Kitten 9) 3 10) Yellow My game-based assessment is multiple choice with pictures to give exceptional special needs students assistance, and I believe my assessment is not too complex for students. I would use Blooket because there are multiple game modes, the choice of level difficulty, the incentive that the games offer when students answer questions correctly, and students can click on the speaker/sound icon, and it will read the questions and options aloud. I also like the options to add pictures, audio record, and import from other programs or applications such as Quizlet.
