Technology Lesson Demonstration Assignment 2 Technology Lesson Demonstration Assignment With the constant change in educational standards the use of technology has been detrimental to how students have been learning, especially since COVID-19. Although technology has always been a small portion of our lessons, we as educators were forced to use technology as our only resource to make sure that our students were still learning virtually. I wanted to find a program that would make our review time fun and interactive to ensure that most students would participate. Blooklet was just that! It was truly an asset to my lessons. Blooket is a tool that allows teachers to make interactive review quizzes that are formatted like games. This program allows students to earn points and open a treasure chest while answering questions. I believe that this is beneficial to student learning because students that thrive from winning want to see their points go up in the game which means they are more likely to take their time. It is also beneficial because on the teacher screen you are able to see their scores which can aid in further review if necessary. One way you can use this program to make a differentiate version of this lesson is by doing a couple of things. For one you can change the amount of time students have to complete the quiz, which is extremely helpful for students that may have some form of test anxiety. Students are also able to have the questions read to them, which would be great for those that are having a hard time with their reading but are still capable of retaining information. Another alternative form of this instruction would be a regular paper or easier questions for students on different reading levels.
